I am not sure that you heard about the new medical certificate policy and basically as follow:
Medical exams are still only valid for 12 months. However, if your application is only being held up because your medical exam has or is about to expire, there is now a process to issue a new medical certificate. They will only consider this option if your exam was done in the last 15 months and the new certificate would only be valid for an additional 12 months.

It doesn't go to NewDehli embassy. New Dehli has the DMP headoffice where all the regional medical reports go for evaluation and processing. Applicant reports from India, Pakistan, Sirilanka, bangladesh (south asia) go the New Dehli headoffice for evaluation. Once the medical is evaluated at New Dehli, the results are upated on GCMS by the doctor. From there CHC-Islamabad and other embassies can look for the medical results. |
