Looking for some help and clarification from the experts in this forum, I applied to sponsor my wife from Pakistan in July of 2011 and was approved for my part by CPC-M in September of 2011. I've been checking the online Client Application Status page periodically and it had said under my wife's status that her application for Permanent Residence was received July of 2011. Just recently there has been the addition of "We have started processing" as of June 2012, what exactly does that mean? Is this something like data entry or something on the decision making? Is this normal on the timeline, a bit faster or slower?
Also initially when I had applied in June 2011, that was based on a telephone Nikah, since then we had the proper ceremonies including Walima and I've sent a second package with pictures and travel details etc., I'm sure I have enough proof to substantiate our relationship but my wife has not been able to change her name on her CNIC or passport, is this a problem? There are a few issues and NADRA is asking for my presence before issuing a different CNIC and other information, does this really matter?
Finally I was thinking of having my wife apply for a Visitors Visa, would that complicate matters somehow?

We Canadians work through the year, and most of us have only 2 weeks of vacation..  I may be wrong but as I recall u went to pak in dec 2010 april 2011 dec 2011 and april 2012 right....So how does all that adds up to 2 weeks?  That is goo though that u visited ur wifey. Hey guys,
Thought I shud share with all the Canadians here and the to-be Canadians as well something.
I watched Madagascar 3 yesterday and I think Alex said and I am paraphrasing here that canadians work ethic is work 2 weeks a year. Is that right u Canadians? He also mentioned French but I m interested in Canadians only. By the way it's a must see movie.

Yes everyone works everywhere, but here in Canada especially, your mainstream of friends are as the situation goes, your lifestyle shifts and roller coasts around, a week is done before you know it, etc etc...time just rockets off... it just seems like you are at work at all times... |

Okay .. so my husband's Ecas just got updated to Decision Made.. Alhamdullilah!!
And it says that "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"..
so im wondering how many days does it take for the visa to get to him?

I m confused...  I noticed everyone get remedical with ppr or just remedical with proofs or repcc and forms...but my husband got request to submit forms only ...no remedical,no repcc or proofs nothing..so what does it mean?is it a gud sign? What will b next? We didnt receive proof of communication request but we r still sending everything like pics of reception and honeymoon etc soo how did u guys send pics,in album or just loose pics?is there any nicer way to send them??any idea? Plzzzzzz answer my query.... Thanks a bunch in advance |
