Today i have received the email from the embassy that backgrounds checks are complete and now file is under the review of decision making officer.


Please pray for me that now i get Re-Medical and PPR together.

Good News brother... now within 2 weeks you wil be getting your PPR inshaAllah

Jan 6, 2010 Hubby went for interview and I was able to tell by his voice that he was down:(
Jan 10, 2010 I called MP office to inquire about results. She said she can't do that!
Feb 2010 I called Islamabad about 15 times but why should they pick up:/ Useless phone number!!
April 2010 I send e-mail to Islamabad and they responded that "Quew for review"
June 2010 I called MP to inquire again
June 2010 MP got respond again "Quew for review"
August 2010 I e-mailed Pakistan when flooding was craaaazzzzzy like hell...close to my hubby's area
August 2010 I filed for Caips notes to get the answer once and for ALLLL
September 2010 Hubby recived letter asking us for proof of relationship, updated IMM forms and new pictures of both of us together!!
September 2010 I landed in Pakistan and my room was filled with rosses hanging from the C LING hahaa
October 2010 Took lots and lots of pictures and sent everything along with letter to explain as to why I had not gone back since first visit!!
October 2010 My hubby and I made a trip to Islamabad but we were not able to go in for inquiry........I tried even though I knew they would say "NO"
October 2010 I sent them an E-mail requesting to see them in person before leaving to Canada.
October 2010 We recived e-mail "No thank you, we have to review what we have right now"
October 2010 I came back to Canada and saw Caips notes on my table!!
October 2010 Recived re-medical request
Novomber 2010 send re-medical
December 2010 I e-mail Islamabad, got respond "background check and quew for review" again!!!!
December 2010 I went to MP office and this time he said"don't worry your hubby will be here end of summer 2011"
Jan 2011 Tired of waiting! Tired of running around like a FOOL!! My heart breaking:(

October, 2010: Had Shadee and Walima
October, 2010: Sent Shadee/Walima Photos, more proofs, etc.
October, 2010: Remedical request
November, 2010: Sent them copy of my stamped passport, my boarding pass and proof of leaving Pakistan, etc.--They called and asked my wife for it.
December 2010- MP told me that Islamabad had bonofied the marriage so rest of process is just some fina background checks. the hardest step is done. MP said 14 months is in February so should get something by then.
December, 2010- EMailed Canadian High Comission as well. They said file is with decision making officer.
February, 2011- FOllowed up with MP again. They said sabar karo.
February 19, 2011: Received passport request from TCS. High Commission sent it on February 17.

Zohal do you know if anyone received PPR in Afghanistan. My friend is Afghani and he is sponsoring his wife his case is almost finished. He is wondering if the Letters I mean PPR will be delivered to P.O. Box? How does it work in Kabul?? How do guys receive PPR because PPR is always sent through tCS or DHL. So these companies does not deliver to P.O. Box. Should he change his wife's mailing address in Pakistan?

YES you can send PCC voluntarily to them... but I suggest you to wait for their request for it.. I have seen some cases they did not demand PCC for the 2nd time.... Wish you all the best an success...

I feel that you will get your PPR in this coming week InshaAllah... some officers take 2 weeks to decide and some take 3 to 4 weeks... so don't worry and be ready to hear good news in coming week... cheers...
