I would not, it gives too much authority to a third party software/people. They can get or mess up the system for you e.g. make ineligible to see status online.

No its safe enough 2 use it.Many of the member's are using e-cas services & dont have any problem with it.If somehow know about ure status no 1 can make it hurt or unsafe u.So not 2 b over conscious tht u become on the corner of the world.Be broad & brave oright they hv given the service for us to use & it help not lot but can help some how rather than nothing.

Here is something interesting that i missed in my CAIPS and just realized it now when reviewing medical request form my wife sent me.

Remember when i asked if UCI is same as Client ID and most responded yes its the same... well my friend, it may not be!  

My client id is ######68 (random # picked) and in caips is it under UCI/PartyID.

My wife's medical form had it had a different UCI# ######71 (random number but similar to real in sequence).

This freaked me out for a sec   , did they make a mistake on the Med form?    Did i send the wrong ID #?  (as they were close to each other in sequence). Maybe it will work on ecase with this new ID (it didn't).  

But reviewing CAIPS closely, i noticed that same UCI # (the one on med form) was under the Eligibility, Security etc etc. So PHEW  and my client id matched under my details.

So ladies and gentlemen, UCI is not the same as Client ID. Better to leave it blank as i did in Updated form request. The form will still validate with barcodes.

Okay so now when i check my husband's status on Ecas.. its showing his Pakistani Address ... before today .. there was no address shown when i checked with the file number..

Does this mean anything?
