Helloo.....
is there anyone know how much weight i can carry first time.my spouse was telling me that first time i can carry more weight than second time...
but PIA booking office told me i can carry 28/28 (2 bags) i think and a hand carry.
PLEASE guide meeeeee

You can carry 2 bags of 28 KG each, the limit is 2 bags. PIA staff is correct.

Although you can carry additional suitcases 28 KG each and have to pay additional 10,000 - 12,000 Ruppees per bag. You can bring as many luggages as you want to Canada but you have to pay 10-12 thousand for every additional baggage.

Try to keep your baggage weight to 26-27 KG as sometimes there is a difference in weight scales and might result in them asking you to pay more money. Also, consider the weight of the bag itslef as well which is usually 1-2KG depending on your bag. The bag size is limited to 54 inches in total (i.e. LxWxH = 54 inches)

the difference is that u wont be charged custom on the stuff you bring first time... when u come just tell the custom officer at the Canadian airport that ur more stuff is coming just in case u want to bring more stuff later on then the custom wont be charged on that as well....
u will have to fill a form at the airport with the amount ($) for the baggage that will be shipped....
bring all gold and eveything first time to avoid custom...

Salam to everyone. I have some news to share. Yesterday we received an "Acknowledgement of Receipt Of Application" letter from CHC Islamabad at Karachi address through registered mail (Our application was received in Islamabad on 28-Jun-2011). It took almost 10 days from the date of letter to date of delivery.
They have asked for supplementary information forms, PCC, and if I have visited my wife in pakistan since the submission application, then for proof of travel and photos of our time spent together.
I am confused about two things and I will appreciate if any one can clarify and advice.
1. My application was recieved in Islamabad on 28-Jun-2011. At that time I sent them an email for file number and they responded with a file number that started with F. Now in this letter, they have sent a different file number starting with B and asked her to use it in all future correspondence. Is that something new or is it normal ?
2. In August/September of 2011 I visited my wife in Pakistan and after returning to Canada I sent over 30 pictures, copies of airline ticket, boarding pass, passport pages, previous months phone logs, emails logs, Skype logs etc. So why are they asking for this information that I already sent voluntarily in November 2011. I even have DHL delivery receipt.
My wife is currently with me in Canada on visitor visa. So I will send my travel information/photos again as well as new information of her visit and our pictures together here in Canada.
I will appreciate anyone's advice and  thoughts about this.

ok so i asked the lady at my MP office John Mckay office to send an email to ChC coz they are not answering ma email n they is wat the email reply she got...

Thank you for your e-mail below. This application is currently in process and is in queue to be reviewed by an immigration officer. Requested documents were received on 16 April 2012 and have been forwarded to applicant's file for attachment and for concerned officer's review.

Your representations in this case have been noted and will be taken into consideration when the application is reviewed.

I send the package of document on March 28th n on March 29 2012, Nasir had received it  n it took them another two week to add this into ma file..... n since ma MP is sending email to them from ma side, y did they say that it will be taken to consideration wen the application will be reviewed?

Wat do u guys think.... its says case is in process.... so means insha'allah i will get remed or remed +ppr together ....

keepon checking e-case it will show IN PROCESS and then u will get somthing

if ur cgms notes ahow medical in process that there doing backround checks so then the can issue the letter

yes it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the documents to be attached to a file

it depends what that MP sec wrote in the e-mail

second it said that medical was in process or progress something like that.... n
that security check not started....
so i am guessing that they are doing security check on ma husband right?

n his passport is expiring on September 28 2012, i have him gettin his pp validated, while this affect ma case
coz i kno u have to have 6 months in order to get remed n 12 months in order to get visa,....

insha'allah he is validating his passport n i will send it to CHC so that they can send remed n ppr together insha'allah

I know 2 guys who are our relatives, their marriage was after me, and filled their cases after me; i heard that their wife got their visa stamped and coming to Canada.  What is happening with chc i, what about our cassssssse ?  ?  ?

yes the security checks are done by CSIS and RCMP once they give clearence the letters get issued

my case is stuck in backround checks also there is alot of backlog thats the reason

just tell him to be prepared to leave ASAP because most likely his visa will be issued before that expiry date

unfortunatlly i don't his wife's name but i know him, his name is faridon, he started his case after me, he come to my wedding, strange...  
My wife last name starts with (M). when she getting PPR+VISA.
