Wow tht's great news for every 1 special Congrat 2 ure buddy "friend".It means September 2010 case r now getting visa as well.Hpfully all get the visa asap.

But How much soon!!! its been 6 months i had remedical & my case is almost on 22nd month now.Our Aor stated to complete the case on 9Months & everything change afterwards all plans.I quit the job etc & started packing & still i m here which is really stressfull.Any idea how much more time 2 get ppr as Medical results recived on e cas since 5months or so.

ya address disappear doesnt mean anything i suppose as i read in the forms that it may happen when cic update there website some error occurs & address disappear as mine is disappear since 6 months after hv remedical.But i heard that address changes to canadian postal address later when decision had been made.Might b i m wrong but lets c wht other ppl think off.Hpfully will all hv good news v soon.

Have you emailed the embassy lately? OR did you order CAIPS/GCMS notes yet? And is yours a wife case or a husband case? If yours is a husband case then most likely your background checks are being done. If you are wife being sponsored by your husband then I think you should email them and find out the status of your application. 5 months after remedical is too long for a wife case.

Ya its husband case but they never said that they r having background check if so it should be completed in one month or so but its been almost 6months i hv send medicals now & my status shows medical results recived since Nov-2011 but i & my spouse did case specific inq week ago they didnt reply nor any auto response from them that they will reply within 28days.Though i did csi on march 2012 & cic replied that case is in Que for review by an immigration officer.Afterwards they r silence like a wind which cold breeze is mking our blood freezing cold 2 die. I didnt apply caips/gcms notes till now.

Danny i hv a Q here i hv gv my mailing address to cic which is accordingly to my National Identity Card which is our commerical building address mean's work place but i didnt mantion my residential address on the form.Does it effect the bckg check.

You are supposed to provide your residential address on the forms that you fill out along with your PCC from the same police district and not your mailing address. But I guess its too late to correct these now. As long as you have the Police Clearance Certificate from the same district as your office address then there is a minimum chance that it will create any issues.

This process is very painful and stressful. Only a few lucky people who have a very strong case and complete paperwork get done within 15 months. It depends on the immigration officer as well who is reviewing your case. In my opinion they are either holding your file for background checks or if they are completed, then waiting for the officer to review the file. Send an email to them and inquire about the status of your case.

It is true that frequent emails can delay your process. Some people email them every 2-3 weeks if they don't get a reply which I think its a bit too much. One email every 60-90 days for case status doesn't hurt in my opinion.
