Here is my effort to respectable Jason Kenny “jason.kenney @  parl.gc.ca“. I will appreciate if you could send an email to Jason Kenny as well it will take 5 minutes only.

Hi Jason/Minister Assistant,

I hope you are doing great and looking forward to spend time with your family on the long weekend. Here I can't expect to see my wife in the next few long weekends (probably 1 more year) due to the lengthy immigration process for Pakistan

I am writing on the behalf of around 2000 Canadian/Permanent Resident who applied for their spouse immigration for Pakistan since 2010/2011 and still waiting...

Spouse processing time for Pakistan has increased to 26 month from 8 months for the last 3 years in Pakistan and your action is required to decrease the processing time.

The following links are the details of spouse processing time against other countries.
http://www.data.gc.ca/default.asp?lang=En&n=5175A6F0-1&xsl=datacataloguerecord&metaxsl=datacataloguerecord&formid=427337D0-7C36-4FED-8428-C6A63F8C19B3

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp (Pakistan is on the 2nd number for the length of spouse processing time after Kenya-Nairobi)

Here is a my dilemma FYI
I am one of the unfortunate Canadian who sponsored wife for Pakistan. The Immigration file is still in waiting list for initial review since xxxx at Islamabad Office. I have contacted local minister “xxxx” in (mycity) few times and this matter is beyond his control.

I believe you are the true representative for the immigrant of Canada and look forward to hear from you soon.

Red Jeans, Tinko, MAB, congratulations to you guys and anyone else who I missed out, on receiving updates on your case.

I just wanted to take a minute and share a little frustration with the rest of you.

I follow this forum every day, as a silent reader who rarely posts. However, recently Ive come to notice a new trend that revolves around whining on behalf of the cases that were filed in 2011.
Seriously guys, chill out.

My case has been on going with little to no updates since November 2010. In this time, Ive had to go through two wedding anniversaries, four eid celebrations, four birthdays (both mine and my husband's), and countless other little milestones in both our lives that we missed out on. I just completed my final semester of school and my graduation ceremony is next month. I was also just hired by the pharmacy I completed my internship at, my husband is refusing one job offer after another and we are sitting quietly bearing the pain, frustration and loneliness all on our own.

I would like to remind everyone on this forum to please, be patient and sit calmly. Crying about brain tumours and mental illness in vain is not a laughing matter. There are people in the world who are actually suffering from these illnesses. It was our decision to marry overseas. We were well aware at the time that this process would be lengthy. We were warned that it could take two years to be with our loved ones. Cursing Jason Kenney and the Government of Canada is going to get you no where.

If you have so much to say and want to actually be proactive about your situation, step away from your computer and do something about it. Stage a protest, organize a rally, get signatures on a petition, throw eggs at the Minister's house, I dont care what you do.

Just dont come to this thread and whine about how your process isnt being completed in 12 months while other applicants' are. You applied well after me and Im sitting here like an idiot waiting it out but Im not complaining.

What it basically comes down to is fate. If it is your destiny to be with the man/woman you love, no earthly power will keep you from them. If not, Allah subhanahu wata'ala will make sure it doesn't happen.

‎"But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you know not." (2:216)

This isnt meant to offend anyone or sound 'holier than thou'. But you guys really need to be thankful and appreciative of the fact that you KNOW something sooner or later is going to happen with your cases. My batch from the last half of 2010 is sitting in absolute uncertainty not knowing when anything will happen. Always look to those who are beneath you and be satisfied rather than looking at those above you and feeling unfortunate.

It is now known that anyone who applied in 2011 will get a response sooner or later, well within the 26 months timeline.

Im going on 19 months here, re-med done, imm forms sent, pcc sent, proof sent. No interview objections, no phone calls; just a very straightforward case. I have no idea when my husband will get his PPR. I have no inkling of what the future brings. Will I spend Ramadhan with my husband this year? Will I spend my birthday with him? Will our next anniversary be spent alone? Nothing.

So 2011's, be grateful. You still have hope. Us 2010's are kind of beat up at the moment.

End of Rant.

I know, when I applied it said 16 months too. But just like you, here I am at 19 months. And my heart goes out to all the families that had children during this process. I dont know what I would do if I was expecting a child and my husband were not with me. My heart goes out to all the women who are living here, working jobs, paying mortgages, surviving life in Canada (its not as bright and sunshine-y as people assume, but it is better than Pakistan) every day on their own without their husbands.

I visit my husband once a year. For 3 weeks at a time. I was very close to being is S_Design's situation last year. "Marital problems" doesnt even begin to describe what my husband and I went through. "Crazy mother in law" is an understatement compare to what mine is. This time apart is slowly eating away at our lives. And this process is BRUTAL to say the least. Ask any one of these Ministers to leave their spouses for a few months and see how they fare.

But we're soldiering on. We must, we have no other choice and we love our Spouses. Ill do anything for mine, even if that means I cant see him for a few more months. Patience is a virtue. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. You dont know what you have until its gone... BLAH BLAH BLAH

Id move to Pakistan in a heart beat if I could but that has a negative impact on the damn case as well doesnt it?

Theyre never happy.

Dear RougeAmour, R.Mujgani and their followers

I don't live in Pakistan where you will pray and hope all is/will well (power crisis, security,... endless list).  They are the members selected by us and they should take appropriate action.
If rat closes his eye at open ground and think cat is not going to hurt him, Rat is insane.
The real problem is we are not united. This is impossible for us to get together on any issue.  The ideal condition is we gather and talk with Minister of CIC regarding “spouse immigration”  or at least send a letter to mitigate this issue.

Hi all,

I'm looking to pay RPRF fees online. Just out of curiosity, I see additional fees for spouse and just not sure if any of you have paid the following fees in addition to RPRF:

A family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older, or is less than 22 years of age and is a spouse or common-law partner :   $550.00

What is the difference between this fees and $490 RPRF fees?

Where should I Mail/Fax the fees information? Islamabad or Missisauga-office where my husband officially submitted my application.

FYI....I'm looking to voluntarily submit RPRF so there are no delays in receiving my Passport request.

550$ is processing fee and 490$ is RPRF Right of Permanent Residence Fee
here is link where u can pay ur fee online put ur file number or client id on receipt send 1 copy to Mississauga and 1 to the  canadian high commission  islamabad

Are you really naive enough to believe that if you and a group of Pakistanis walked up to Jason Kenney and asked him to speed up sponsorship times, he would listen to you? Are you naive enough to believe that all of this is in hands? That even Stephen Harper has any control over it? This is much bigger than our Government. Than all of us. Theyve been given orders, and they will follow them. Your crying and screaming isnt going to help anything. You can if it makes you feel better but it wont help.

Go and read the comments section on the Globe and Mail's interview with Jason Kenney. As accepting and welcoming the average white Canadian pretends to be, they do not want us here. If it were up to them, they would close the borders indefinitely and stop all forms of immigration. Be grateful youre not being refused entry into this country completely.

Ive been living in North America my entire life. I was in Chicago for  the first ten years of my life and have been in Toronto ever since. Ive seen the hatred, the racism, the sense of entitlement in their eyes. The flood of Muslim immigrants into this country is making them furious. The easiest way to decrease our numbers (in their opinion) is to crack down on immigration.

Do you really believe that marital fraud is their genuine reason? Or terrorism? Or civil instability? Everything he said in his interview was a joke! India isnt politically unstable? Their values arent similar to Pakistans? China and India are known to profit off of marriage of convenience contracts. Theres a CBC Documentary from The Passionate Eye that discusses just that.

So dont accuse me of being passive. Dont accuse me of keeping my eyes shut and ignoring the blows. This is much bigger than all of us. We have to be patient because there is no use in causing an uproar. Do you think that if you dont vote for the cons this year, you'll be able to change anything? Ive been voting NDP since 2003. They have a huge following but do you really think that its under our control who is elected to office?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robocall_scandal

Read that. By any means necessary, the evil and the corrupt will maintain their positions in office. You and I are just pawns. Same goes for Pakistan. Ill say it right here: If Imran Khan becomes the next president of Pakistan, then you can be sure he has been bought out; that he has sold his soul to the devil.

We're living in the end of times my friends, stop expecting things to get easier.
