Huma your in Montreal and so am I, we should go for coffee sometime. I live in Pierrefonds, are you in the west island or other area? Things with my husband is getting tough too he wants me to visit him in Pakistan but my office is not giving me holidays  These headaches are a curse, maybe we can all pray and INSHALLAH ALLAH TALLAH will grant our wishes. |

my husband has applied for my and our daughter's immigration in may 2009.
in feb 2011 I've received IMM forms and updated PCC.

salam maria238, we heard on Friday actually but i didn't get the chance to come on line till today. But atleast we know that the embassy is moving now a little bit faster soo good luck to alllll i know what i went trough and i know exactly how each one of u feel soooo guys just hang on tight its a bumpy ride which will soon come to a great end!

" Permanent Residence Application "
3 - We received application for permanent residence on January 27, 2011.
4 - Medical results have been received.

u said that CHC-i has a tendency to treat nikah only cases with suspicion, does that mean that one whould have FULL wedding before submitting application??
Or one should keep them informed of rukhsati before they send u an objection?? How does it work??
Nikah only cases are likely to get an objection letter from CHC-Isb. After an year, they open your file and send you a letter insinuating that this marriage is not genuine, provide more proof. They may also ask for PCC and Supplementary Forms but no remedical. It delays the case 4 months a minimum. Definetly Yes, one should keep them informed of rukhsati and send them as many pictures from valima/ all ceremonies as possible. While you can apply right after Nikah, Rukhsati should be planned well within a year of Nikah to avoid any chances of suspicion. Keep CHC-Isb updated every step of the way. |
