My wife got her passport back; here is the time-line if anyone is interested (i think quite a few)
Its Nikkah only case;
Apllication submitted: Aug, 2010
ReMed req: Nov, 2011
Objection: Nov, 2011
Proof + forms sent: Dec, 2011
PPR : April 6, 2012
sent: April 11, 2012
Passport Return date: May 04, 2012
It took almost 21 months... but I am glad that even with objection it is not that bad (compared to others)
This forum really helped me. Thanks everyone.

Can anybody tell me ,if we wanna go pakistan so how much money can we take with us ........what i think is $10000 is that true....as well if we wanna take out money(withdraw) so how do that work in pakistan.

QUESTION:
As the sponsor if I want to send a request to Islamabad visa office to withdraw sponsorship application, what is the best and most reliable way to contact them? I have already sent a signed fax at +92-51-208-6914, along with a copy of my wife IDs and my signed IDs, plus the receipt of Right of Permanent Residence fee. I included these with the fax just to confirm my identity.
My question is should I also send this request by mail with Fedex or TCS, or you guys think the fax I sent should be enough. Also how can I confirm that they have processed my request?
I am withdrawing the application because I have decided to end the relationship... its long story I will share it with you guys in few days.
