Danny, On the caips note, did they mention the date they claim to have sent the supposedly ppr + remed letter?

Its in the notes section as Note (1). "Re-med letter sent to FN thru TCS"

While in Correspondence section it says

There is nothing beside "Sent by" "sent with" and date While the notes by VO shows that there was an instruction to prepare and send Re-med and PHEP letter on 9th Feb.

This means that they started processing your application. If you click on "In Process" it will tell you the date they started working on your husband's application. This means that they started doing the initial review on that date.

I clicked it and it stills says the same date as before. the date they recieved my file which is may 17 2011

Still waiting sister, not sure when these morons will wake up and correct their mistake. After 2 emails and 2 fax sent over 3 weeks, nothing yet. My wife's medical duedate (Bring forward date) is April 14th so I am hoping that they will call her and ask her if she did her medical.

its been two months now since ur letter is missing...thats frustrating..
I hope they will process it ASAP..

Log in with your husbands information and file number, then it might tell you the date. It shows the date in process for most people unless the status didn't change at all.

its not the TCS, its definitely the imbecile chc-i.  Don't worry, inshallah come apr 14 (ur bfd) they will see their f mistake and rectify it right away. have faith and little more patience (words; i say the same to my wife).

InshaAllah sister, remember me in your prayers. We were very frustrated and stressed out due to all this. But slowly we have accepted it as Allah's will. There must be a reason Allah has planned it for us this way. My wife had an appointment on April 4th but cancelled it as we didn't get the letter yet. Now she has made another appointment for 24th April. I hope we get the Re-med letter before April 24th InshaAllah

If your husband got Re-med + PPR then it takes around 60-90 days maximum if his background check is over.

They usually have a review date of 60 days for Re-med and PPR together. So check with your husband what was the date on his Re-med and PPR letter and how many days he was given to do his Re-med and to send his passport. They usually given 30-60 days for it, varies from cases to case.

Yes I agree with you 100% as interest is haram in islam and we should should try our best to stay away from those savings accounts if we can. Besides in order to take advantage for financial situation, if anyone wants to invest into something should be always looking into the options where it is allowed in islam, for example investing into certain stocks, commodities or mutual funds where there is no motgage or interest involved in any of that and You can always buy a stock which may not give you a high return but it can be a very sound investments as share in hydro, oil or many other big companies which may give you better dividends and you have a good shelter against income tax while making more money than interest bearing accounts.
