It will not delay your case at all. I wrote a total of 3 emails before my initial review and it didn't have any effect on my case. |

I just got this response from MP. I sent email for confirming address change on my wife's file. File was trasfered in June 2011. ECAS status is still showing "Application Received" with old address.
"Thank you for your e-mail below. This application is currently in process and is in queue to be reviewed by an immigration officer.
Information provided has been noted and has been forwarded to the concerned unit for review and for update of mailing address."
