In all the AOR's sen to ppl, it states that it will take 9 months on average to process the case but it is not true, if you go on their website and check-out the application processing times it says 16 months on average and it takes more that in routine but i must say in 5% of cases, the whole procedure does take 9 months only... So, it depends from case to case. And generally it is seen that husband cases take more time to be processed than wife one
But about them contacting you regarding your application, they contact you only if something is missing from your application or if they require you to submit some additional documents, it varies from case to case.

Salamz Everyone,
My husband got a letter from ISB CHC today and they have requested for some forms.
Finally, some movement in the process ...
They asked for Supplementary Forms which we already sent to them in MAY 2010
They asked for RE-POLICE Clearance Certificate
They asked for the Additional Family Member Forms, which we already sent to them in JAN 2010
They also asked us to fill out the Permanent Residence application which we included in the Sponsorship package in JAN 2010!!!
Does anyone have an idea why they are asking for these forms again???
The Police Clearance is understood but not the rest ...

My wife received the same forms. They want updated information about what you have been doing for the past year, recent activities, travel history, education updates, was there a baby(family information), etc etc...Becuas it has been a year and people forget to update CIC therefore they sent the forms again to get all the updated information. |

dont wrry thy jus asking i kno..thy ask frm my cousin too buh in the end whn he got visa thy returned him al of those ...thy jus wana make sure tht every thing is coorect not fake:P u kno hw indian ppl are doing fake marriages jus send thm\ m |

Don't worry. After you send these forms back. They will ask for a re-medical in 2-3 months and then finally PPR. They are actually working for which I am so glad.
jaania u r like in same situation like me yaar..:S:S look at me i am away frm my hubby frm last 9 mnths almost planing to visit pak in june or july but its too hard as my work is not giving me vacation...i m getting so pissed off more thn tht i m feeling so sad nd depressed ;pray for me too.....i rec my AOR in aug now its ben 6 mnths nuthng i m getting so scared dun kno wt gonna hapen evn my hubby's med is goig 2 b xpire in may :S:S:S |
