Huge difference between Pak & India... they have no security problems,, their govt not as corrupt as our's, the are enjoying cricket world cup in their country, when no international team is ready to come to pakistan... so it effects the immigration process as well... in india they appointed so many immigration officer as compare to Pakistan.. becuz of security reasons their staff is less in Pakistan and eventualy it prolongs the process... more cases and less people to deal with them.... many reasons... It is good that in these kind of circumstances embassy is still working for Pakistani people... what if they close embassy from Islamabad and shift it to Dubai and increase process time? and call people for interview to Dubai... I believe people will still apply sposal cases from dubai... Also there are many other offices their processin time is even longer than us... like Akara Ghana.. Nairobi Kenya.. etc... So we should all be patient and should be thankful to Canadian embassy they are still working in Pakistn in such tough situation where their lifes are on stake.... you never know how hard it is for them too.... we should also appreciate their effort and wait for our turn to get our PR... since we see alomost everyday peoople receiving PPR... and we are in queue... so think positive and trust in Allah,, Allah will help all of us inshaAllah... and in Quran Allah says.. Allah does Burden peope more than their capacity to absorb.... May Allah helps all of us (Aameen)

the will complete all straight forward cases within 16 months for sure... some complicated cases take bit more month or two... but not more than this... complicated i.e. 2nd marriage.... visited or lived in more than 1 country... some medical problems...wrongly filled applications.. or missed some part of it... so these are not big probems but increase time from 1 to 2 months to process the applicatins...
Mine has been above 18 months and my MP says that my file can take up to 6 more months .. What do you have to say now? I have lost it completely |

Ask your husband to order CAIPS notes from Canada.. so that you can see what is going on with your application and what is taking them too long to make decision.. |

i spoke to my MP over the phone yesterday he has called me in .. i am wondering... if they know so much about our cases why dont they write anything in the email .. after reading mareea's comment im doubtfull about him calling me to his office to discuss my file .. cuz i didnt pay attention to his crap and told him ill email you cuz i cant leave work to come see you .. ab sooch rahi hoon chali jaon to find out what else he knows about my file  |

you can send me private message and explain your situaton.. there must be some complications in your applicaton... I can only advise you if I know the real situation of your case...
Theres no complication that I can think of. I got married in Dec 2008 and my husband applied for me in july 2009. Islamabad embassy started processing it in Aug 2009. I heard nothing from them until I mailed them in April 2010 that my ruksati and reception is in May 2010 and it was then they asked me for more pics and evidences and I provided them with all. Since then, 9 and a half months have passed and they say they have some doubts and an interview would soon be conducted but no date has been given yet. My medical got expired 8 months back and they havent asked me for it again. I think they have neglected my file  .. I feel so helpless and unfortunate ..  |

They do not neglect anyone's file... they deal all applicants equaly.. it depends how much proofs you provided in your initial application,, wedding pcitures,, post wedding pictures,, honey mooon... telephone bills... greeting cards.. emails etc... pctures with fmily and friends on different occasions.. more proofs you send them more it makes application strong and they find it easy to decide... Still you should ask your husban to order CAIPS notes.... you will know even what is their doubts and why they want to have your interview.... |

In AOR they mention to provide nikah and Rukhasati pics. I don't understand why don't you guys apply after rukhsati. Rukhsati is very important to immigration.
Ok but then the ruksati reception pics.. our honeymoon pics.. hotel reservation receipts .. copy of our passports with visa of places we went on our honeymoon .. ab kia jaan lengay? |

May be they want to know that why you got married and did rukhsati after long time.. and why did not do rukhsati the time u got married and applied for your immigration... may be you did not clarifiy all your situation in your covering letter... i guess these are their doubts... but Allah knows best.... CAIPS notes will tell you entire story... |
