That is true, anything can happen. But my wife and I are preparing for a long wait, had high hopes a few months back since hearing of cases such as One2k's but those high hopes are long gone.
I was saying about waiver keeping one2ka4 case in mind, hey plz dont loose hope miracle do happen. |

Question for all the people in interview queue. How did you guys find out that your file is sent for interview? Did you find out by emailing them or through your CAIPs notes?
I requested CAIPs notes three weeks ago for the first time, so should I wait for them or should I email them to check if my wife's file is in interview queue? What you guys think.
I am thinking if the file is in interview queue, I want her to apply for visit visa and stay with me for time she has to wait for the interview. Any thoughts on this idea??

Originally it was they believed our marriage was of convienence and not genuine due to nikah only case, and she was placed in interview. But we submitted ruhksati pictures after we had full wedding afterwards, then our file when to que for review by immigration officer followed by interview que again.
Pretty much, now i have no clue.

Mostly they let u know about interview from email inquiry. Very few cases found about interview from caips. Most of the time caips doesn't tell u the reason of interview, only people who had objection of marriage not genuine had reason mentioned in Caips for rest nothing. Regarding visit visa i would suggest first see if the file is in interview queue or not if it is in interview queue then go ahead and apply for TRV and if it is not then it is better not to apply for TRV. |

Found out from CAIPS last year, and on recent email by their response. If you applied for CAIPS three weeks ago, you will receive them before any email you send. On CAIPS it showed ... "send to interview" in summary and also the BFD is INT |

Thanks bestplace4u, yes thats exactly what I am thinking. As I run my own business I can't really close it and live in Pakistan so my wife and I were planing to apply for TRV if they send her file in interview queue. Maybe its a stupid question, but do you know which email address to use to contact them. And if there is any protocol to follow other then mentioning the 1 - File Number 2 - Applicant full name and 3 - Applicant date of birth. Thanks for your advice again! |

Thanks CanPak05, I have read here that first time anyone apply for CAIPS it cake take month and a half before getting any reply. So that means I will get the reply in end of March. I am sure they will reply to our email before that, right? |
