Please elaborate a bit on your case and timeline so that we  all can get an idea as to where you stand. Did u apply on the basis of nikkah or full wedding? File transfer date? When did u get re-med request etc

It is a wife case. Received in ISL in Oct 2010, Re-med Nov 2010, Re-Pcc+IMM Jan 2011. It is quite a standard case, we haven't received any objections at all. I thought we were one of the lucky ones when we got Re-Med but then 2 months later we got a request for new PCC + IMM forms and are just waiting since then. A bit strange to get re-med before re-PCC + IMM, isn't it? Usually goes the other way around.

I haven't been following this forum for over year.... as I just recently came home after spending year in Pakistan with my husband.  Soon as I come back my husband receive call from Islamabad for interview... I think they were waiting for me to leave country before contacting my husband.  Anyway my husband went for interview basically the officer scrutinzed him about his educational and work history.  Very little question were asked regarding our marriage.  Anyway just wondering if anyone else spouse has recently gone for interview and whether they have received any further communication on how long it will take them to make there finally decision and request passport for VISA.



Timeline - Husband Case
June 4 2010 min. requirment meet file transferred to Islamabad
July 22, 2010 - online showing that Islamabad has started to process file
Aug. 9, 2010 - Supplementary info form plus photos & proof of communication forward to Embassy.
Nov. 9, 2010 - Email request sent to Embassy inquiring about my current status
Nov. 16, 2010 - rec'd email form Embassy application in process & in queue to be reviewed.
Jan. 25, 2011 - sent 2nd email inquirying about my current status. Rec'd reply back same day that "Your application is currently in process and is in queue for initial review."
Aug. 2011 - received 2nd Medical request and complete Supplementary info again.
Feb. 24, 2012 - received call for Interview March , 2012
March , 2012 - went for interview --- waiting for response.

today i checked my status so my address is reappread now n status is in process my address is also dissappread but today its reappread wats going on i cant got any thing yet from CIC y my address is reappread n dissappread n in hw many days they send any request after ecase is changed ?

Considering it is husband case and it was sent to interview, your case has been processed really fast. Inshallah the rest will go fast too. Most comments I have read about interviews is that, it adds at least one more year to your time line. I am really surprised on how fast they ask your husband to do the interview.

U ka address appearing and disappearing does not mean you will get something quickly, they are processing your file and doing  intial review so U be patient raho Me ki taran ok

my wife is on Permanent residence and i have a kid 2y with canadian passport.they ask me for form fill for dependents they are coming or not with u. who should i include in dependents. dead line is 14 march.
i came to know via this fourm a persom os PR card cant visit pakistan but my wife visit 4 time in three years.
are we going to get some serious trouble  what we have to do regarding this matter.

U ka address appearing and disappearing does not mean you will get something quickly, they are processing your file and doing  intial review so U be patient raho Me ki taran ok

You don't need to include anyone in "dependents" section as both your kid has a canadian passport and your wife is a permanent resident.

Also, regarding your wife's residency requirements read the article below:

Its not true that your wife can't visit Pakistan but she can't stay for an extended period of time.

I think they are just waiting to reach closer to the timeline and then issue you Visa.

shahroz mail is correct i am also march 2010 case and i am gone through remedical in aug 2011 .

few days back they also reply to my mail that background checks are in process and according to ur reply ur background checks are over which is
 gud sign , they will finalize ur case before the remedical expiry and hopefully now they will send u passport request and soon will issue u visa
