Here you go : AM, GSA, BA and SSB are the initials of Immigration officers that looked at your file.

soooooo complicated  guys I checked online status before medical was under decision made and interview may be required was under process now it is the opposite. medical is under process and interview required is under decision made. what's happening. If they put you on interview que so its always shows on ecas as yours interview showing there? |

I heard if u r going first time then u can take extra luggage it is allowed for the plp going v first time ?is it true?
Flight does not allow it but if some one is going as international student extra baggage is allowed but not for immigrants i guess ......... |

Thank you for your detailed response, what I understand that CHC-ISB did not object on the fact that your wife was in Canada and her passport was submitted in Pakistan .....that is good to know, also please tell me how your wife crossed to USA and entered back to Canada, did she have to apply for USA visa as well.
She didn't need any US visa. All we did was to drive to US-Can Boarder. We drove to US-Border first, meet with US customs officer, they took our passports and told us to wait inside their office. after couple minutes wait we meet another US-officer, he took my wife finger print and looked at her Landing documents, asked few question and then issued an official letter that said something like deported because of Canadian Landing. Handed back our passports and documents. We then took U-turn, went to Canadian-Border, they sent us inside we meet Immigration and Customer officers and to stamp the passport and they kept the US-Deported letter. This was the official procedure explained to us by Canadian Immigration also. I asked US officer will this deportation letter have effect on our future US visa applications, and he said that no as this is not an illegal procedure. |

Yes! It actually disappeared at the beginning of the new year for a couple of weeks. then came back for a few days and has been disappeared since that time..over 5 weeks now..no address :s |

Thank you very much once again. I am still curious about sending the passport to Pak by mail and Embassy having no objection on it, did you inquire CHC-ISB about it before you sent it by courrier to Pak? sorry for bothering you
No worries bro, I never inquired them if couriering passport from Canada to Pakistan is allowed or objectionable. But I did email them that it's impossible for my wife to travel, we gave medical excuse (withOUT attaching doctors letter), and we need 10 days due to courier delays. They did email me later (seems like a generic reply with date modification) : "A final time extension of 10 days has been granted to you. Please submit all requested items in the specified time frame. No further requests for time extension will be considered." I think they should not make any objection unnecessary unless an interview is required. Secondly as per the PPR letter, spouse can authorize anyone to pick up the passport, so I don't think they should have any sort of objections to that why person is outside Pakistan and passport inside Pakistan - as this is normal whenever Visa are processed. |
