Hello guys, i just noticed that on my wife CoPR letter my address is wrong.. i mean its my old address from Alberta but now i live in mississauga.

Do you think this will create some problem at the time of landing ?

If you already updated your address with Revenue Canada OR CIC, then you don't to worry about it. Your wife can update them with the address at the Canadian airport. If you havn't updated it yet, I would suggest you to update your address with CIC. You can do it online through your own E-case.

she told me that January 2011 cases will be in progress in August 2012....

she wants me to wait till august 2012 n if i dont hear then she will email them again

I HAVE FULL TRUST AND FAITH in ALLAH (SWT)

PIA is safe but mostly 30 mins late or so which isn't a big deal. The advantage is see with taking PIA is Direct flight and two 28 KG suitcases instead of 23KGs. Also an extra baggage of 28 KG costs around an additional 10,000 RS which isn't too bad.

The downside is the typical desi environment which includes people walking in the plane like they are walking in a park.

I heard if u r going first time then u can take extra luggage it is allowed for the plp going v first time ?is it true?

Don't worry, that freaking lady just doesn't want someone to contact. She told me that your file was transferred in December 2010 and please don't contact us before December 2012, because its too early to ask us in your case.

You can take as many suitcases as you like. I would suggest no more than 4 as it would be a heavy load for a female to carry in and out of the airport unless you get a porter and pay them on both airports. But you will have to pay extra for 2 suitcases which will be 10,000 Rs for each suitcase or closer to that if you travel with PIA. All the suitecases should be under 28KG. Try to keep it to 26 or 27KG max as their weight machine on the belt is sometimes screwed up. The customs in Canada won't charge you anything as you will be permanently moving to Canada. Declare all your belongings to Customs and declare all your jewelery that you are bringing and what you left in Pakistan and will be bringing it later on. Also, make sure you get all your jewelery appraised and take photographs of them and present it to the customs officials for their records. This way when you bring the rest of your jewelery the next time they won't charge you anything. Make sure you don't bring anything with you that is illegal in Canada.

hey guys as amirkijaan i also received my caip notes and very confuseing for me...can anyone please let me know the meaning of these codes..

paper file sent to AM  file bf 'd to GSA on 08-12-2012    
it was fwd to "AM where is that it was fwd on June 2010
file fwd to SSB in June 2010
RCVD was fwd to "BA" who or where is that
GTEC what does that stand for
its in the "FRP" list fwd to RD on June 2010

 AM, GSA, BA and SSB are the initials of Immigration officers that looked at your file.

GTEC stands for Greater Toronto Enforcement Centre; got to do with the background checks.

my husband contacted the MP today. she came back with that there is nothing wrong file is complete medicals added..and passport recieved on 23 nov. but file is in STILL in qeue to be reviewed by immigration officer. there is no bfd on the file.
so basically i think they have just forgotten about it???
its now 3.5 months and even ppl who had not payed rpf fee did not have to wait this long.
trying to figure out what to do?
