I just got a call from Pakistani embassy in Toronto. I emailed them regarding the lengthy processing time for spousal sponsorship from Pakistan. They followed up with me today and asked me to provide the link where it shows the official sponsorship time and they will take this issue to the higher authorities both in Ottawa and Islamabad. He agreed with me that it is brutal and unacceptable and shows that we are being discriminated against. When I told him the timeline for India, he couldn't believe it and assured me that he will do everything possible to take this issue to higher authorities. In the end he thanked me for bringing up this issue and told me that he will follow up with me soon.

Lets hope there will be something done to reduce the timeline as more pressure would be put on the Canadian Government to speed up spousal sponsorship Visa InshaAllah

Bhai I haven't said I have knowledge ..... What I know is if we haven't sponsor or blah blah we still have problems in our life ....this doesn't mean If we r not getting anything from CIC so it's all their fault that all members gone mental.... We know the tym line n still we want everything early....that's what the problem...no sabar at all.

Like this guy thought if he order CAIPS more than once it would effect his case which is not true. I read someone writing it on here the same thing as well. Ordering caips has nothing to do with chc performance for our application but rather just the information about where we stand. but if someone keep bothering chc by emailing them everyday that could sure cause problem.

Danny4450 posted great info regarding applying through email, in the quote below.  I would say roughly 3-4 weeks to get a request.

Send an email to this email address for caips
ATIP-AIPRP      @      cic.gc.ca

in subject put 'caips request'


and attach the following documents:

access to information  and personal information request form
(IMM 5565)

authority to release personal informaiton (imm 5475)

credit card payment form (im 5667)

proof of your canadian residence (e.g pr card copy or canadian passport copy etc)

just scan and email these documents at the above mentioned email address

ur right sister, lately everyone is using the CHC as an excuse to bullshi*t at others.....
everyone has knowledge, sometime we so called CANADIAN CITIZENS dont kno much that we might think we have, and vise versa....

i for one have nothing against CHC, they do their work
thats how they are ordered to do...... its their job jus
