thank u, yay jo 30 or 45 days aap keh rahay hain inn may weekend aur holidays nahi shamil, right? mery file open hogy april may jaisay gcms may bata rahay hain---may soch rahy hoon kay un ko apnay husband kay visits kay proof bhej doon--app ka kya mashwara hai? aur agar bhejoon tu kahan bhejna hain--aap ko us ka address pata hay kya? |

hi got a reply today from CHC about case inquiry but in november dey said
"Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Applicant's file is currently in queue for background checks initiation."
and now der reply is following .Question is how long it will take more as 7 months after remedical is already completed.wen dey will issue PPR?

It seems like they are dragging your case even more and doing a 2nd background check as its a husband case. The way they are treating our applications, I have come to a conclusion that this Government is targeting us on purpose. They don't have an explaination of 14-15 months of wait for initial review, just boost the Visa quota to finish the backlog it created in the first place. This is getting ridiculous. |

FTPR, I am July 2010 AOR, my husband had remedical done in July 201, it has been 6 months but no PPR., Everytime we send them an email, we get a reply saying that they are doing background checks. It's very frustration, and I don't know what to do any more. I have done everything, from mailing them to contacting the MP. Nothing works! |

I don't know how much more time it will take them to finish your background check. Not sure when they started it either. Usually background check takes anywhere from 45 days to 6 months depending on the history of applicant. As I said, they are dragging it on purpose. Who knows if they even do the 2nd background check or just put the file away in a 6 month wait queue. |

Yes, I know what you mean. The funny thing is my husband has never travelled outside Pakistan, there is nothing adverse about his history, so I don't know what on earth is the background check is checking for. It's just brutal what they are doing to us. |
