I hope the things I sent reached to the destination since nothing came back to me but next time I will try fedex.

I sent stuff through Fedex, DO NOT send it to PO BOX address. They are not going to send it to a PO BOX address as its not a postal service. If the weight is less than a 1lb then its $100 plus tax...if its more then it can be up to $200.

I sent a bunch of things as proof of visit as I had sent 62 pics, so the weight was 1.3lb and it cost me $139 tax included.

I don't think they are working in a sequence but As I had posted a joke earlier regarding their forgetfulness.
Just incase if you missed that one.
An absent-minded Visa officer in Islamabad decided to never mind about sponsorship cases for spousal visa but at least he had conquered his problem of trying to remember his wife's birthday and their anniversary.
He opened an account with a florist, provided that florist with the dates and instructions to send flowers to his wife on these dates along with an appropriate note signed, “Your loving husband.”

His wife was thrilled by this new display of attention and all went well until one day, some bouquets later, when he came home, kissed his wife and said off-handedly, “Nice flowers, honey. Where'd you get them?”
 

hahaha...that is a good one...yes i agree...there are many VO's there who are either lazy or just take their time...and there are many who want to get things done ASAP and out of the way...depends which VO has their hands on our file...we can just pray that a nice VO handles our file...lolzz...but it was a good joke...

My rep told me back in Jan 2011 that CHC-I re-opens after the break on Jan 11th. I don't know to what extent it's true.

It might me because all the VO's come back from Canada after they visit their families.

Hey guys,

Just a quick advice from my side, I might be wrong but on the other note i might be making sence. I got my GCMS notes today through email. Now it is in total of i think 5 pages or so, It clearly says everything that was done by me when i applied in september 2010 my history in canada what i wrote about myyself  and when i became the citizen when i landed in canada what officer notes were when he/she sended the request, When they received when they started to work on it, How many emails i send them what they replied to my concerns, Everything was noted in last 14 months my file was in process i emailed them 6 times, And few days back my wife received a letter in to re fill re-pcc, some of the imm-forms and some other proofs along with it. NOw on the gcms it says that they have my orginal nikkah nama but they still want one more it has to be stamped by UNION COUNCIL and english nikkah naama copy has to be attested. Thats were the officer notes were also the pics i sent for the ruksati, wedding, and honeymoon werent enough off course so i have to re send them but i guess in a large quantity, Also it says they have sent out the re-medical request letter on december 28th so i hope i will receive it on the first week of january.

It also says My file will be reviewed again on Febraury 2nd 2012. So i guess it explains all i think it will take my wife few more months or so for her to receive visa. If everything goes right INSHALLAH. It took me a while to figure it out how the GCMS works, But it was helpfull. Now when they open my file on febraury 2nd if everything goes alright they will send the letter out for passport request INSHLALLAH.

Also a note guys everytime we email CHC- I it gets recorded.

I called chc i and they are open as i write this they will be closed only monday jan 2 2012 for new years

That is very good news. Hopefully many other VO's will come back from vacation in mid Jan.

As I said, don't quote me or mark my word. It was just my opinion. Its a good thing you called and made sure.

Yes we can only hope and pray that someone who handle's our file won't be looking at our files as policeman who believe's that IN GOD WE TRUST evryone else is a suspect or criminal.

hahaha...that is a good one...yes i agree...there are many VO's there who are either lazy or just take their time...and there are many who want to get things done ASAP and out of the way...depends which VO has their hands on our file...we can just pray that a nice VO handles our file...lolzz...but it was a good joke...
