It means that your file didn't have any activity. If you applied anywhere from Oct 2010 onwards, your file wouldn't have seen any activity yet. Wait till January if you are OCT/NOV/DEC 2010 or JAN 2011 applicant.

Okay .. Don't count on E-case for your updates. They rarely update the E-case. The best way to find out about your status is to email them. Browse this site for any questions regarding emailing CHC-I.

Have you tried emailing them ? They will atleast tell you the phase your file is in such as "queue for initial review", "to be reviewed by Immigration officer" etc. Unfortunately, there is no other way to find out beside their brief email replies. You can also get your husbands MP involved and get them to email CHC-I.

 already sumbited some docs on last sept as they requested some docs, so i sent it, so now wht?

Canadian immigration system is bull*censored word* they cant keep track where files go know i am pissed because cpc mississuaga said they have sent the file to chc since august 31 and chc i saying we have not recieved it still

They f***** gotta kidding

you should contact CPC they shud know because they sent the file CHC so they shud have record in their system,

maybe your file has many stopovers like iceland, greenland, europe, it shud be on the way on atlantic ocean

Sis i called today they said ones we approve a file after that chc is responsible they dont track it

On e-case it says application for permanent residences recieved since september 15 with medical results so i wondering who updated that part and couple of days it said we started to processing ur file on ocotober 21 then that part was removed someOne has file this is more agonising then waiting

if they didnt received yr file why they put in process in ur e-cas, ur file must be misplaced by CHC and they shud responsible for tht, and how come CPC dnt have records of files whch they sent to CHC, they shud have, if u order pizza they have ur records when u call them next time so it comes in their system when u order again, so how come CPC dnt have

no not necessary ur not in jail  , u can go out, but not for long time if for long time then shud inform CHC
