my hubby's mp told us in sep 2011 that our file is in queue for interview and there is no other update after that .dont worry sis hard time will over soon but it takes usually 1 year |

Yep. The only consistent member on this thread even after his wife came to Canada, Wes bhai has gone MIA as well for the same reason.
sis I think you are the most professional member on this forum. You always give value to others for their opinion and the way you explain things I just love it. Too sad that some forum members here have problem with pakistani mentatlity I think they should feel shame before saying things like that. Always be proud of your roots whats wrong with Pakistan or Pakistani thinking?? but thats is a different argument all togather. Sis its my request to you pls continue on sharing your valuable knowledge and helping others becuase you are the only experienced forum member who share the knowledege without showing any attitude like some other so called senior members. Once again May Allah pak help us all and make things better for all of us Ameen. |

every one should joke man ... i hate crying ...........whining ........... i just hate it ...... coz it would not make any difference to your case or anything in your life .... a laugh might give u better bp and health  I don't mind jokes at all, as long as its not disrespecting any other members. Unfortunately most of the jokes end up as arguments which then become group arguments. So I try not to be a part of it cuz I know its useless. |

Today its been 14 month started since my file was transfered to Islamabad. No reply yet from Islamabad in any order no request forms no Re-medical , No Re-Pcc, No Nothing. I dont know whats happenning. I havent been able to visit my wife since July 2010, when i came back from Pakistan after being married. The only reason i asked is because i wanna visit my wife soon Its better for her to get the letter first so i can go visit her after she receives the letter. And December the flights are way too expensive so i am looking in to January Flights because its much cheaper in January. especially after the second week.
Please Advise.

Hi-need assistance with one question. On the interview letter it says to bring the updated PCC but it also mentioned that the PCC is valid for 12 months. I am confused should we get new PCC or not cuz we submitted the PPC in May 2011.also our districts Pcc is only valid for 90 days I am not to sure.plzzzz advise.thanx.

This process is too lenghthy. One of the reasons my wife and I have decided to wait on kids until this lengthy process is over. It only complicates your file and takes longer. Hard choice but had to think from the head and not the heart. On that note, We have changed our minds (instead of waiting to hear from them first) and will be sending them info on my visit and Rukhsati pics. Hoping it strengthens our case. Even though i had even sent them my iphone text message screen shots, emails, skype log (new version is a b*t_h to extract) and photos from engagement, dinners, Nikkah + reception. Regarding the reply from CHC on emails, I have received a reply a couple of days later (emailed twice in the past 12 months), even though its generic "initial review" status but its something. @ MainBucha: I am Dec 23rd AOR as well. I have noticed that some have received request for Additional forms, RE-PCC or Supplementary forms in 6-9 months after applying. Has anyone else got these requests because I am at 12+ months now and no communication or requests (med expired Oct 27). I am not talking about update request because its been so longer than 12 months or new forms. Just a little worried... but it could be i gave them everything i could at that time, well organized and labeled. My mississauga process was done in 28 days even though website said 34. Now its 60 days so I feel for new applicants. As for the recent 15 pages of posts... chill guys... Don't let your frustration of the process spill on to others. Its almost holiday season here in Canada so I know, like the rest here, I will be missing my sweet heart. Just have to wait. Hang in there guys n gals. Cheers, CB |

I would say to avoid the confusion, just get another one. its not gonna hurt If you will get new one, but if you will not get new one then may be they can ask for that and delay the process.
