Application received by CPCM on 24th March today on 21st April i was able to check status online it says decision made they have mailed a letter any idea guys?
Really worried until my sponsor receive the letter.

Oh my gosh they told me too that they have sent a letter but online I checked same status in process I wonder what that letter is about?  when did the processing started? |

Hey best place I think your sponsor would receive approval letter in 2/3 days depending upon how much time post takes to reach to your place from CPC-Mississauga. Your sponsor can call their helpline anytime and tell them that you havn't received letter yet. All the best |

The sponsors decision will remain as "decision made" but for the applicant you will get a file number from Islamabad and when you will put that into e-cas it should show as "in process" until you get your visa.

Any idea how long does it takes to rcv AOR once the application has been approved by CPCM
Usually it will take about a month from the date that CPC-M approves your application but you should hear from Islamabad. For example CPC-M approved my application on August 12th 2009 and Islamabad started processing my application on September 12th 2009 and I got AOR on September 14th 2009. |

I have received my letter dated April 15, 2010 from CPC-M stating that I have met all the requirements to sponsor my wife to Canada and that my file has been transferred to Islamabad for processing. CPC-M received my application on March 18, 2010.
I have been actively reading post about the processing times for the Islamabad office and am greatful to all the information I have received. I will also continue to update the progress of my wifes application as it proceeds along with what seems to be a large backlog of applications.
Inshallah everyone will be with their families soon,
