CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

I assume your are citizen because if you are a Permanent resident you wont be able to sponsor unless you are in Canada, list of documents include, police clearance, nikkah nama, translation, Form B since u have a child as well, his educational documents original, copy of his ID card with translation, and if you can provide any evidence that you are intended to move back to Canada will be helpful to determine your case. you may be asked to provide pictures of functions and the all-inclusive Rukhsati, marriage invitation card, and family pictures. In terms of medical, the best time to do it is after six months of application transfer to Islamabad..... I know you are rolling your eyes by now but our heads are rolling after applying. hope it helps

thnx for d reply...i m a PR ,now moving bak with my daughter on TRV and hubby on student visa and i intend to file inland application.the questions are

1.Husband recently had police clearance and medical done(last month) do i again need these thngs for him if going to apply in jan?
2.what to do for my daughters medical ,if to get them done before leaving for canada ,where can i get forms from?
3.If i m not on job ,can i still sponsor? 2 of my brothers(both single) in canada are willing to assist financially if needed.
4.From where to translate NIC

InshaAllah .. just prepare your hubby for the interview. Go over your CAIPS notes again and check why exactly they put your hubby in the interview queue. There is a list of questions that WES786 posted a while ago, they can be helpful as well. Also, ask your hubby not to be nervous and treat it just like another job interivew.

you need Police clearance again for sponsorship since its a different application

For your daughter's medical, no forms are required, walk into Doctor's office and they will do it for you ..... only Remdical needs forms which are sent by CHC

your siblings can offerr letter of support, it wont really make a difference .... in order to sponsor a spouse there is no set income requirement but I assume they need some income at least in particular that u r a PR, if u have funds sitting in savings account that will instead look better so transfer everythig from siblings account to yours

That means that your initial review is done and the immigration officer probably issued request for new medicals or police character certificate and forms etc... after that step it can take about 2-6 months. It just varies from person to person.

Is your file in queue for initial review or with immigration officer for review? These are two different things and the initial review usually takes place after 11-12 months of file transfer. As your file was transferred in April 2011, how exactly do you know that it is with the immigration officer to be reviewed ?
