Question: i sent a change of mailing address request to isl and they did change my address online. But, recently a new tab showed saying the applicant name ofcourse  and it also says "Application Recieved" and under it it says "in process". But, my mailing address does not show anymore after this new "Application Recieved" thing came up. Any idea guys? Thanks!

I have same issue since from this morning.I think they should some working on it.

hey sister sure visa was issued on jan 18,2011.  My wife just received her passport back yesterday alhamdullallah along with her documents and pictures wwe submitted nothing else. 

nov 18,2009 aor

remed request along with imm updated forms and pcc july 2009

ppr request jan 18,2011

passport returned with visa stamped feb 7,2011

total it took 15 months to complete.

I had sent an email to ISB CHC yesterday morning and mentioned to them that I had broke my ankle and need assistance here in Canada until I am recovered. I do not have any help other than my husband.
This morning I received a reply from ISB CHC, read below:
Dear Client,
This is in response to your email (see below).
The information provided will be placed on your file.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth, and file number.

Immigration Section

This is so ridicule! They did not even mention if they have even started on the Intial Review!!
This is so depressing ... Any one in this forum from MONTREAL?
Well, let's see what my MP get's back from ISB CHC, she called Islamabad yesterday and requested an update.

Marya jee, I try to stay positive but my husband has no patience.
Each time he calls me and says " tum mere bina kaise reh lehti ho " LOL baray emotional hain mere husband. So each time I answer " mushkil hai magar koi aur raasta nahi hai bas intezaar kere "
Everyday its the same question and same answer, I am so sick of it.
I have a lot of patience but he is so frustrated and unhappy in PK. I miss him too but I can't leave my work is not giving me any vacation time, I already took 2 weeks for my injured foot

no i sponsored from montreal Quebec....i had full marriage and i have a 2 yrs old son also...he was 6 months old when i sponsored my husband.....but i am in pakistan since 5 months...goin back in march....
i dont know y its taking too long...
what is ur timeline??

also i talked to my MP and he said that my file is still in background check and every month he says this month visa will come..aur kuch nhe hota ...

I sponsored my husband from Montreal on JAN 21, 2010.
Mississauga Processed: MAR 15, 2010
ISB CHC Processed: STAMPED DATE ON AOR APR 27, 2010
(as per the hand written date on the AOR it was MAR 30, 2010 - strange)
Supplementary Forms were mailed to ISB CHC: MAY 04, 2010
FILE IS IN THE QUEUE WAITING FOR THE INITIAL REVIEW until this day.
I have not visited PK since we got married, I am working in Montreal since 1996 and I am a Canadian Citizen for the past 32 years. I dont know what the delay is but its not fair to us all.
My local MP has sent a message to ISB CHC on FEB 4th 2010 and waiting for a reply, I will let you all know the outcome as soon as possible, INSHALLAH ...

Our timeline is pretty similar. I got married in Oct 2010 as well. My wife received AOR in Mar 2010 and there is nothng since then I sent extra supporting documents in July 2010 after my visit to my wife in Pakistan medical expired in Jan 2011 but no news yet...

Dear WES786, my husband did his medical when I was in PK .. DEC 15, 2009.
Our MEDICAL has been expired since DEC 15 2009 and no contact from ISB CHC for a RE-MED
That is so strange ... OH well, guess we have to wait until someone there opens the file to
start the process. Maybe they will contact us in MAR 2011 INSHALLAH let us see.

Dear whd_mukhtar,

Yes, this will delay your file. ISB CHC takes longer whenever there is a change made because these changes have to go through all the offices involved. I suggest you keep your address and just re-direct your mail from the post office to your new address. You have to go to the POST OFFICE near you and request that any mail going to your old address must be re-directed to your new address.
I think they charge like 30.00 dollars if you are in Canada. If you are in Pakistan then it may be a problem for you.

Im sponsoring my wife from Lahore like most of u are from pakistan anyways. My timeline..

April 2010: application sent CHC-M
May 2010: Sponsorship approved.
June 2010: File Transfered to CHC-I
July 2010: AOR recd' from CHC-I and request for Additional Info
July 2010: Additional Info sent to CHC-I
Oct 2010: Medical expired

since then khamoshi....
