Hey guys, I have a question. When the PCC expires in 6 months. Do they send a request and also if your medical expires how long after do they send a re medical request? Any idea?

No one has the answer to this question it varies case to case May be they don't demand PCC at all. For Re-Medical it takes 1-2 months minimum and 5-8 months at maximum |

Thanks for the reply. I heard even if the medical expires they just dont bother to send a request. If they know that they are going to issue a visa soon.

well visa validity depends on the medical so they will always demand it if it has expired

As someone has mentioned above that they are speeding up the process now. It could be true at some extend. If that is the case than what the hell they were doing in last year?what were preventing them to be proactive and get things done smoothly on time.
I think they were delaying it intentionly while doing yanki panki & chit chat instead of doing something good.
How dare can they opearte like that.
FYI. Going to renew my passport this week insha allah.
I guess they have so much backlog now that they don't have any other option left. Plus there are so many files coming in every year that they had to move the processing office for skilled workers visa to U.K They have to finish 2009-2010 cases by mid and end of this year max other wise when will they get the time to do 2011 cases |

even if they finish in the mid...its still too much how come they wrote 16 months on the net and taking more than 20 months thats not fair salam to all but on apr ltr the said its 9 mnth........and jub 2009 ki turn 2011 may ae hay to kya 2010 ki turn 2012 may ay gi? |

My wife called the embassy and the personnel told her that they are currently processing October 2010 cases -- They also mentioned to her that the background checks are all done and should be getting something in the mail in the next 10 - 15 days.

ainy u will hve to accept the fct tht its gonna take between 16-24 months for male cases and upto 18 months for females....irrespective of the fct whether u applied in 2009 or 2010 its just this way no matter how much u hate it so plz stop bothering ur self...  |

Guys, one thing i will tell. The more you email them, its going to delay you applications. Just be patient and inshallah everything will be fine. I heard from this friend that works at the american embassy and thats what he told me. |
