oh what i meant by that is, it doesnt have to be the MP from the riding you are living in, that has to look at your case. You can ask any MP i think, but ofcourse it makes sense to ask the one in your riding. I went to this MP's office becuase I was told that she would be helpful. Granted, my wording was a little confusing so I apologize. And ofcourse its not the MP, its the assistant. Perhaps thier office is too busy. I'll keep trying. Thanks for the info and sorry again for the confusion.

You cant change MP, but it is your right that MP shld help you. You shld visit the MP and tell your concerns. Most of the MPs consumed 70% of their time in addressing immirgrations issues in their ridings.
Me and my friend living in the same city and both of us sponsoring husbands. She lives in east and i am living in west and she has different MP, but he is not helpful at all so she want to come to my MP. My MP said let him try first to help you if he cant we will help. |

That's what she's been doing for me just e-mailing the embassy and that's about it. She told me there is nothing else they can do but there is another guy in the office i spoke to him on Thursday and i asked him if i could speak to Navdeep directly and he said well you have to go through Gina first and if you think it's not working out then yeah i be able to see Navdeep. Then i spoke to Gina again on Friday and she told me that your case is in the decision making Queue so just wait for another month or so otherwise we will write the embassy again. That's all i've been told. |

Salaam everyone my wife recently got her ppr alhamduliallah which was on january 18, 2011 so what we did was we went to islamabad and dropped off her passport in person but they did not issue the visa the same day. We were told to provide an address in pakistan so they will mail it. They asked for my wifes name on the form and so she signed and gave it to the guard. Now its been i week and we got a call from the person who we gave the address in islamabad but he was not home at the time the tcs guy came to the door and didnt leave anything. I contacted tcs but they need a reference number or tracking number which we dont have. So i would like to know what happens after this will they attemp to come back or will it go back to the embassy. Please i need everyones help as i dont know what else to do and the whereabouts of my wifes passport is unknown. Greatly appreciated

That sound true to me because Its been over a week they have received change of address signed letter along with other stuff for my sister husband but still they have not updated the new address and old address keep showing on website.

Assalam O Alikum, No news. I emailed them on Feb 1, 2011 regarding the status but didn't get any response so far. My case is in queue to be reviewed by a decision making officer over a month now. Not sure, how much we have to wait in this stage. Any guesses? |
