Did u get the seat booked for parjai jee yet? When is she flying? A word of caution, pay a little extra these days but plz don't go for PIA their planes are in mechanically bad shape! It's all over The media these days and also unexpected delays as well!
Yeah please no PIA- the only good thing about it that its a direct flight, plus they allow extra luggage- but my dad says that for someone going on a spouse visa, even etihad and emirates dont say anything and 4-5 kg per suitcase le jaaney detey hain  I wouldn't suggest Turkish- even though its the cheapest airline and the flight is pretty decent, turkish airport pe stop over bohot lamba hai...and if shes carrying alot of luggage and jewellery, chota stopover is best, thus, emirates or etihad  |

By the grace of Allah my wife received her passport back with visa today-Alhamdollilah.
Just to give quick idea of timeline: I sent my file to Mississauga on April 29, 2010 and got AOR on July 13, 2010. She had received PPR+Remedical together at end of August. We sent passport and receipt for remedical on September 7, 2011. So the whole process took 18 months in my case.

Salam Brothers & Sisters.
I have a Great News to share with you guys. By Grace of Allah my husband got his PPR today. Alhamdulillah, the wait is finally over! I know it is a really tough and frustrating time to go through but patience and prayers really do pay off in the end. I sincerely hope and pray that all of you are reunited with your spouses soon!
The entire process took 23 months.
Congrats Sis, Wish you all the best for future. |

oh jiyo sonya! veeray tere liyay poora TIM HORTONS!! fikar kanoon karna wa! but that is a little different i thought it would be PPR plus remed but it was only remed, shouldnt it be PPR too wat do u think veeray? And yah btw did i tell u they sent the remed by TCS!!!!  isnt this new?  just remed by TCS? has it happened to anyone ? i thought they only sent PPR or PPR plus remed by TCS!! but still Alhamdollilah! congrattsssssssss |

KARACHI: The windscreen of the plane on flight from Dubai to Peshawar developed some cracks that necessitated its safe landing in Karachi.
PIA sources told that Dubai-Peshawar flight PK-284 was diverted to Karachi and made a safe landing after the windscreen of the plane Airbus A-310 had developed some cracks.
PIA spokesman said that the plane after necessary repair would be leaving for Peshawar at 12.30 P.M. He further said that it was not the windscreen but the side screen that had developed some cracks, which necessitated the flight's landing in Karachi.
