just to clarify ....are you guys talking about the address on the site when you check your status of the case....but i have not seen at any time my address disappear ...what does that indicate?


but i talk to my mp and he says tell me things that my case is being dealth with and so when ever documents or medicals needs to be done he tells me...and for his medical, last time he was requested to do a re-medical was last yr in the summer...and below is the example of what my status is online:...so please guide me in what stage i am in and also on the 30th of sept my mp will contact the embassy on my stautus update because it has been over 24 months...so please pray.....

We started processing (hubbys name) application on September 30, 2009.
 
Medical results have been received.

this has been here since prob 1 year and a half..no change but things have been updated told by my mp...

i was told by someone not to keep checking the status because it delays the process!

This address appears at the top of your ECAS case status on the CIC website and it occasionally disappears and comes back. Disappearing may indicate that the file is either being opened or reviewed or worked on in some way for any of its processes nothing more.

You checking the status does not slow down anything so dont worry about that. Almost all the 2009 cases are finalized or finalizing so you are very close to the end now inshaAllah. You should probably also speak to your MP before the timeline is increased from 24 months to something more and ask them what is happening now. Maybe even order caips as well. Has the remedical also expired from last year?

Even after the visa etc the file is still active as the person has to be landed etc or not landed within the time given thus the visa expires and so on and so forth. Even though to us the file has been closed coz the visa is issued but the government paper work and processes do not stop at that point which could be the background updates that are taking place in ecas file system maybe moving from one queue to next to update further. That is my guess anyway.

But I am so sure the address disappearance has to do with the file being updated in the background whether or not we see the update result in a ppr or any other form.

That was the myth up untill now, but it happened to almost everyone on the forum so it seems confusing, oh well whatever it is I hope it's in a positive way for everyone...

Mine was missing since Aug 15 and came back today. I e-mailed them last week and got respond saying they recieved the documents and attached to file on Aug 15. To me it looks like disappering address seems they are doing  something.  Bye the way my wafie's re-medical was done on June 28 2011.

My address also came back today after about 23 days and email response I had on Sep 20th said your file is in Q to be reviewd by immigration officer. I think may be the review is done on all those files whos address was missing. Now some may receive letters for something and for some they may have put another BFD for now. Lets hope for the best. Those of us who have address back please keep the forum informed about any update you may receive.

recvd CPC-M email for approval on August 4th,2011
Whats with address missing business; can someone elaborate on that because i dont even see any address to begin with (ECAS); unless i will see my address lateron when CIC starts initial review.

You get an online call log history that you can print and send it to them ad a proof. Quality is good but not the best, so it's better if you put $10 first to try it and if you like it then you can recharge for more later on. I have been using it for a while and it's pretty similar to comwave...

Yes it's a prepaid service and subscribe to the freedom 4900 plan or whatever it is thats the one I use!

ITS SAME LYK MINE IT APPEARD BUT HAVENT CHANGED,,,SO U JUST SENDED THE LETTER IT WILL GOING TO GET CHANGED FOR U MINE IS LYK 8 MONTHS,,,,I E-MAILED THEM N IT SAYS THEY WILL GOING TO UPDATE IT,,,MANY OTHER FORUM MEMBERS ADDRESS HAS BEEN CHANGED .
