CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

It isnt easy to get up and go to pak just like that.. Becuz of all this time frame crap i have already started to have problems with my husband.
He may say he understands but if i keep my self in his shoes i would know what pain he is going through.
Yesterday somone wrote a thread saying make frequent visits for which somone else replied that later CIC might ask to prove how will you support spouse financially.. WTH!!!

What to do What not to do??

Go there and sit there to wait? Spend money ..take a leave by the time ur running low on the days left on your leave u find out that the process will take more time.. makes me pull all my hair out..
Id rather meet him in canada soon and go to CUBA lol to Relax..

like .. what do they think its easy to stay away from your spouse or what??

Btw i was just going through another forum yesterday which gave me more stress people have been waiting for more than 10 months already even after their re-med and re-pcc's

Hi everyone. I just found this forum and registered. I have been a member of immigration.ca/forum since August. This place seem to be more lively and active. I hope those who messed up the mahol there don't show up here and create the same mahol.

I am also in line for a very long time now (Sept 2009 AOR), and reading about fellow citizens situation both comforts and scare the heck out of me. My file is thrown in queue for interview and there is absolute no update what so ever. Ever since the initial AOR, my wife hasn't received anything. Everything is tried and tested, but Visa office won't budge, maybe they are pissed off from all of us. In my 16th month !!! since AOR.

Updated PCC , Supplementary Forms, Other proof of residency in Canada from sponsor -- 20-Jul-2010
We sent all the documents except on PCC (from Singapore)  on 10-Aug-2010
Received Letter from CIC they need Singapore PCC (its Must) -- 08-Sep-2010
Got remedical Request -- 30-Sep-2010
Remedical Done -- 01-Oct-2010
Singapore PCC Sent -- 05-Nov-2010
PPR - 13-Jan-2011

Hope this information helps people establishing their time-lines.

We have to do something rather than just waiting... We should arrange a protest at CHC-Islamabad and also here in Calgary in front of Jason Kennys' office...

I am also trying to contact news reporters from different news channels, I plan to write emails to news reporter so that they can broadcast this CHC-Islamabad processing time issue on radio and TV.

I would request everyone to please do something, send emails to Prime minister, Immigration minister and forward their replies to news channels... I also recommend people to provide evidence and reference to different forums while writing emails and letters, this will show how many people have been suffering from this pain

Nobody will do anything unless you decide to step up and raise your voice...

Jani99, do you live in Calgary. I also have plans to visit Minister office in Calgary and speak to him. If they cant reduce the timeline which they will never do, they should allow our spouses to visit us on visit visa. My wife applied 2 times for visit visa and was refused on the basis that she doesnt satisfied the IO that she has sufficient ties with her country. How crule is that they want us to wait for 16 months and even dont allow our spouses to visit us.

Yes I will join. In adition to above we can also seach a Chachi for our Chachu in PKSTN put them in relationship and than we will ask Chachu apply through CHC-ISB so that he can gain some practical expuser also.

Chachu said Policies & laws are equal to all. But I am not agree with that and see a PURE dicrimination with CHC-ISB applicants.
