Canadianbutt, you already got the answer from members. My wife case is under process for last 10 months, she applied 2 times for visit visa and got refused. No negative impact on case, infact many cosultants agreed that it shows the genuity of your relationship that you are trying to meet each other and not waiting idle for 16 months. Make sure to visit your spouse during the process and gatthered as much evidence of your visit as you can, like photos, tickets, boarding passes, etc etc.

well i'll be going back to Pak next month.  Do you guys think i should send more evidence eg photos, tickets, boarding passess from PAK or wait until i get back?

i'll be there for about a month so at which point do you guys think it's better to submit more proof?

style, your time line is exactly like mine. I visited my spouse in Sept and on return submitted all the proofs. There was a debate before as well, and some of the members beleive that it will not make any difference if you submit while in Pakistan or once you are back. I feel it is better to submit once you are back because it will give you more time to spend quality time with your spouse, family and gathered proper proofs, including the entry stamp on your passport into Canada.

Baseera it takes 4 to 5 weeks aproximately but if u have an emergency i think u can send explanation letter and they'll issue it to him earlier .

That's what i was thinking as well, to submit everything when i come back.  But i'm hoping i won't have to and should or will get some good news before or while i'm in Pak.

not yet  We email CHC-I on the process update but didn't get a reply yet.  Not sure if CHC-I is lieu day for New yr holiday but hoping to hear something by the end of this week.  Either via email or post mail
