i sent an email requesting infos regarding my husband application and i got this reply today.

Shaima i know wat a pain in head is this immigiration process..i completely understand ur situation..i ve gone through all this...just be patient n have faith..my case processing dates were like urs..i got my visa..n m here wid my hubby..so keep good examples in front of you n dont lose hope...may something good comes ur way real soon!!!

hey loon congrats for the visa....ur timeline is one month b4 mine...i applied for my husband in 0ct 2009...but the process started on 30th dec 2009....he did the re-medical on 25th oct 2010 which was deleievr in india on 9th nov 2010....kub tak aye ga visa yarr?

quick question --- when you guys goto MPs office and ask them to find the status of the file from CHC-Islamabad .. do MP require to fill out a consent form, from you and your spouse ?? something called .. 'Authority to release personal information to a designated individual' IMM 5475 ?

Hi Aqsa,

You just have to give the information about yourself and your husband his file number, name and his date of birth.
That's what i did. My Mp's office asked me all this information. Just call the office and ask them what do they need.

actually m the applicant and my husband(who is in canada) is the sponsor..so if i get you right, one has to tell the names of the applicant and the sponsor, as well as the file number and date of birth of the applicant..right?

Wow such a long wait  may I know the reason and also plz tell us when did ur previous medical expired ?

               they told me that my wife over stayed in pakistan bcs she was pr holder not a citizen,,we went for apeal ,,, and apeal was refused ,,,we start it over in dec 2009,,by the way my med was expired in aug 2010,,,,,,,,
