My lawyer once showed me the list of immigration officers working in the Canadian Embassy. There are many Hindu's working there.. originally from India. Not all Immigration Officers are White or Pakistanis.

hey everyone i am posting after may months now....my case is still where it is... applied in june 2009 and case processing started in aug 2009.. have submitted updated pcc in april 2010...n since then file is in background checks.... depressed  |

Mariah have you contacted your MP lately, if you didn't then you should and find out what's taking so long. Your husband should have gotten the visa by now. Your MP's office will find out what's the delay.
I know how you feel, we are all actually in this forum are suffering but there is nothing we can do accept pray to Allah, Inshal allah we will soon hear the good news.
Don't be depressed.

Maximus... I remember you posted sometime ago that CHC replied you regarding your re-medical inquiry, and they mentioned in their email to you that re-medical requests are sent after the background check is done. And now r saying that your MP informed you.. what is the fact? pls share.. Success!!
Yes in the start of November i wrote email to CHC-ISL and they replied back by saying that re-medical will be issued once the background check is completed on your file.... The BFD case on my file was start of December and now my MP has inquired and he told me that background check is over and i will be receiving a letter from CHC-ISL in 1-3 weeks. |

Huma you suppose to contact MP of Canada and not Pakistan.. so for example if you are sponsored by your husband who lives in Canada then ask him to contact his local MP and ask him to do the check on your application. MP of Pakistan cannot do any thing about your case. Canadian Embassy will not reply back to them. |

you have to fill whichever period is longer. if you are 22 than you have to include your details from last 10 years i.e. from 12yrs.!
Read the form guidelines Go on section 11 of IMM0008_1e.. You are only suppose to provide information related to Personal History since age 18.. and not for last 10 years... |
