Salaam Adil1998

Me and Warya are from same time line... got AOR in december, but the diffrence is you are sponsoring ur wife and I and Warya are sponsoring our husbands..
We also did not receieve any kind of letter or update from CHC-Islb after december 2009.. My husband's case started processing on December 17th and Warya's 16th december I guess...
People usually say its a good sign if they do not ask for anything from you... but who knows :-p
but its really really very frustrating and irritating tht you keep on waiting for an update on ur case and there is no news for last 11 months now...

but going thru same situation anyways...

Yeah its correct its good sign. Cuz if they have any objection on your relationship than they might have sended you a letter like others are getting.

My wife received AOR in march 2010. I requested caips notes from ottawa and it shows that the file has been sitting in their storage area and havn't been touched as of yet. Consider the updated timeline on CIC website aswell, its 16 months now.

^ Doesn't canada post take a while for delivery? What did they it will take them to get that delivered? Did you ask FedEx about how much they will charge? May be for little bit extra it would get their faster via courier service...

I obtained online FEDEX price and it came to around $150 delivery after 2 days.

I always use Canada Post, in the past regular cards or mails delivered to my wife with in 5-6 days. So it should be delivered by next Friday than on Following Monday TCS to CHC.

16 months now but our files are already in process and at that time max. time was 13-14 months and they mentioned at least 9 months wait in AOR. i think 16 months for new applications

Here is good news for those of you who want to make another solid proof for future. Use this link below to send the online prepayment to your spouse starting from $5.05 [Maximum $40 at a given point] CAD and your spouse will receive 365Rps net of Tax will be 305Rps and it has connection with almost all the major carriers in PKSTN. Payments are only payable by credit card. So when you are ready to submit proof get the main website print out, logged in to your account and than under "HISTORY" get the print out of all the payments you made.

https://www.ezetop.com/v7/index.html

I have started sending prepayment of $5.05 CAD= 365Rps for my wife a long long time ago, so I have attached the payments history and most recent my credit card statement indicating the charges as a sample of proof and financial supporting.

Any body interested....?

Well its an average based on 2009 applicants. That 9 months term was during 2008.

Its taking 16 months for those applications submitted at your time. The future processing times can be different. The processing time on CIC website is the processing times for application that has been already processed.
