I have been waiting for 4 yrs noww this is the 2nd time ive been sponsoring my husband Jan 24, 2009 they started processing the application and what happened was i got married in 2008 but i gave them the first marriage certificate when i sponsored to them thats why they sended the fairness letter saying im gaving u a fair chance 60 days to send me ur afghanistan marriage certificate, bc i have given them the pakistan marriage certificate that one was the 1st sponsor when we got married over the phone, So now im waiting inshallahhhhh for this yr he shud come,,but i dunoo why its takin so longgggggggggg??

January 04, 2009 Application forwarded to Islambad
January 24, 2009 Processing Application
February 2009 In Process
October 01, 2009 sent a letter for fairness saying to send in your marriage certificate

Hey Nilufar....when does your husband's medical expire? and why don't you go to your lolcal Mp and ask them to email islamabad for an update on your case...whats taking them so long

my husbands medical already expired my mp said wait til june if no good news other wise i have to call my mp thats what she told me, buh i heard the embassy moved to dubai?

Hello again Nilufar,

Thank you for your email and to simply answer your questions, I have to day no, I have not heard from the overseas office. It is not part of their services to keep a Member of Parliaments office updated as to any new movement on a file. As it has only been I month since their reply, December 29, 2009-- (see below)-- they clearly state, the file is in review and all the documents you were worried that had not been attached are now within your file. Its' simply a matter of time now until the officer finalizes your file and I wish for you that I could know when.

I cannot do another inquiry at this point or it will jeopardize the position you file is in, in the review queue. I will hope that it is soon ready but should you not hear any news by June, please email again, but let us again really hope and pray that this will not be the case. I regret that we cannot do anything more on this file except to let the officer overseas do his/her speedy job of finalizing your file.

 

Please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know if you or your spouse hear of any good news soon. Otherwise, and I hope this is not the case, I will re-inquire in June. Hold tight Nilufar!

OH MY GOD....its your Mp's job to email them go to another Mp as your file is no longer in its normal processing times!!! I got my Mp to send other inquiry as my case too is from Jan....she is actually going to call Ottawa and get them to find out what the hold up is

Hi Nilufaar sorry to hear ur case MAY ALLAH HELP U OUTOF THIS TOUGH SITUATION as I am also 1 of the affecttess n know v well how ur time is passing but wt we can do is just pray 4 all of us did u order for CAIPS Notes they will tell u inside story completely

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm to my understanding it is simple .................... dat ur file is in waiting 4 review n normally embassy has a system of reviewing file n that is when they open file n b4 closing it, they write next date when file will b opened...... n that is almost 3 months time nowadays n REVIEW is mostlydone by \senior Immigration Officers

U shud take CAIPS Notes that will tell u whole story exactly...............

         Caips Notes is a system where all the information of everybody whose application is under process at any embassy of world .............. it is cheap the one in canada can get it on ur behalf for free or u can mail it  from here to someone in canada to file it on ur behalf  u will get detailed reply in 4 to 6 weeks which will b coded infromation then again u can get the decoding on this forum or from any lawyers or from few immigration sites that can be done from search through google ..................... 4 initial guaidance use this site http://www.caips.ca/
