Guys, There is no such thing as Priority Processing for Flood Affected areas applicants. I have confirmed this from two sources my MP & CHC-Islamabad. The MP has said that in case of priority processing always a new bulletin is issued on the cic website and in case for Pakistan there is no such thing.(The bulletins are available for Srilanka Tsunami and Haiti Earthquake).

Furthermore, I have called CHC-Islamabad direct number 051-2719001 and i told them that i am from flood affected areas etc etc and they told me that there is no priority processing for flood victims etc.. So i think all the priority processing are just rumors.

Number of people who applied last year in March/April got there visas by Oct/Nov ... Problem has started after that

CHC-ISB is currently accepting Job applications for short term vacancies and the deadline to submit applications is Oct 15. I hope with these newly hired staff they will be able to resolve the backlog at least for now, this is not in much interest of 2009 applicants since they are already working actively. 

But the good news is peoples who have applied in first half of 2010 will be able to see the good news a lot quicker than those who applied in 2009 as they really suffer with the longest time line. Many of my lovely sisters & brothers had prayed day/night to Allah Subhana Tallah for their loved one. To me this step of CHC is alhum do lillah a fazil from Allah.

Hi everyone,

I read all the comments from the forum, i just want you guys to know one thing that who ever has lived outside of pakistan has to have the police clearance, because that's what my husband is going through.

He was in three different countries and the embassy is asking him to bring the police certificates from those three countries. So if any of you guys
who have the same problem better start working on that.

I have been corosponding with embassy back and forth and they do answer me back but remeber one thing keep your wording short. Don't write too much and do not repeat your e-mails because then they will not answer you.

I sponsered my husband last year in september 2009 and received AOR letter in november and they started to process the application on Nov the
14th 2009. In Aug 2010 he recieved the phone call from the embassy stating he has to go for his re-medical and the police report at the same time. He has done those things and now they want police certificates from the other three places.
