UPDATE:

My husbands Medical expired December 15th 2010, I sent an email to ISB Visa office and asked them how they proceed if the Medical expires and I also asked them for a brief update on my sponsorship application. I sent them the email on December 16th 2010 and today I have received again the generic reply they always send me, see below reply:

Dear Client,
This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is currently in process and is in queue for initial review.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed.

I am so upset and so is my husband in Pakistan!!! I Miss him so much!!!
ISB processed my file April 27th 2010 and the letter said they will process the app within 9 months. It is over 9 months now, so let us see what happens then. I will keep you all posted on what happens next ...

I contact my local MP on FEB 3, 2011 and his assisstant told me that she will send an URGENT message to
ISB CHC, INSHALLAH ISB CHC will have to reply back to the MP's office other than that pathetic generic email that I always get. Everyone please pray that I get some good news. I had a major accident on Jan 21, 2011 and broke my ankle and since I am unable to walk, I have crutches, please pray for my recovery too. Today I am back to work, my office manager pushed me to come back because they do not have anyone to cover my desk. ALLAH hi malik hai, kya kuch kerna perta hai is country main. I have been in Canada since I was 2 years old, basically 32 years and a Canadian Citizen so why is ISB CHC still taking so long?

I wish you all the best and pray all of us reunite with our spouses soon, INSHALLAH!!!!!

Hey all

I applied for visit visa for my wife and she got it so why not give it a try at least our spouses can be with us .... Basically you have to show them that he / she will be going back i.e. studies .. .work etc...

She submitted bank statements from both of us for the last 2 months
Letter of employment from me
Passport copy of mine
Attached Immigration application letter
2009 Tax statement
Her enrollnment letter from the university
The process for visit visa is 3 months

Nope 2010 cases --- February cases have already been processed and she also mentioned that whatever is listed in your AOR will be the time they aim for + 3 mths if necessary so it could take between 9 - 12 months... Furthermore the reason it takes 16 months is due to incomplete documents or extra documents (if required) -- currently all cases for September 2010 onwards is taking 12 mths on average...

Also to provide specific information about your cases you need to mention every single detail about yourself  and spouse otherwise they usually send a generic email
