I highly Doubt that  they will send the re-med after very long .. after they have had enough of good time wasting .. thats when they mail the letters...

Its been 6weeks for my husbands re-med.. we havent heard anything yet .. keeping fingers crossed

WHY DEPORT JASON KENNEY?

1. Jason Kenney does not speak any of Canada's native languages. Cree. Mohawk. Ojibwe. etc. His failure to integrate with existing native society is grounds for termination of his citizenship.

2. Jason Kenney, arguably, supports state terrorism. Based on anecdotal evidence withheld to the general public, Jason Kenney has ties to terrorism. He's attended an April 2006 rally supporting PMOI, a UN listed terrorist group. We cannot have suspected terrorists in Canada! Even if our suspicions are incorrect! Even if charges have been overturned! We MUST deport this potential THREAT to Canada's safety and security. Jason Kenney should not have a Canadian passport!

It turns out you can be a Canadian citizen and still be deported. This rule has since only been applied to non-white Canadian citizens, or "second class" citizens.
There are many secret prisons abroad where CSIS can send Jason Kenney for "information extraction" purposes. We can just wait for him to go on vacation and then take his passport away!

It's been close to 16 days since my wife med expired and nothing yet.  Not even a reply to the email we sent them a week ago

Your application is currently in process and that there are certain issues that cannot be addressed or assessed without an in-person interview. Unfortunately, at this point in time, it is not possible to give a timeframe for the interview.   However, we can safely say that it will not be before February 2011.
 
If you have any updated documents such as  photographs and other proof of the sponsor's visits since the wedding, proof of contact  including telephone bills, emails and letters, proof of financial support and any other proof of  an on-going relationship, you are welcome to submit these to us.  Such documents would help us in assessing your application.

I suggest that you should go to the interview with your spouse. I know it is hard to get the days off from work, but tell your employers the situation. They will understand, and it will surely put pressure on Islamabad CIC. Good Luck Bro

Yes I have a plan to make a visit and employer is aware of my situation already. But this is just an email response have to wait for the actual interview letter to find out the exact interview date and than I will visit. Thx for your input

both can go for an interview? If that is the case then you got nothing to worry about.  Claim that Rukhsati was done while you were in Pak for the internview, take couple of pictures with you and should be good to go

remember to take your passport with you and come back with a visa on it

It would suck if they make everyone to go through an interview who didn't have the rukhsati. Well atleast you have applied for CAIPS and you have some idea on where your case is going...

It is just a matter of Rukhsati OR may be they are not clear on something.

i'm 90% sure it's a matter of Rukhsati since that is one of the main things they look for.  Other info you have submited about Insurance and medical coverage is not considered necessary.

Wasn't there someone else on here who didn't do Rukhsati and was ask to submit proof of Rukhsati upon completion?

But let's wait for proper interview request before coming to a conclusion.
