Huma, my hubby did his re-med on Dec 2nd .. we still waiting  you will hear somthing soon Inshallah.. because my husband did his remedical October I think the firs week of October and he got a PPR letter Dec, 18, he sent his passport last week and waiting for his passport.. so you might hear something this week or next week Inshallah... so be patient |

re-medical was done on 25th oct 2010....i didnt get the re-pcc letter so they sent it again today and ill submitt re-pcc probably after 2 days |

Dear Friends...
I have been dealing with this Canadian immigration bull*censored word* for last 10 years. They never reply you on time and if you compare Islamabad processing time with other immigration offices around the world, CIC-Islamabad takes forever to complete even a small task. I have collected some useful contact information of some ministers, I would suggest everyone to write an email to minister Jason Kenny, his office is in Calgary. You guys should cc your email to prime minister of Canada too...

You can , but CAIPS can only be mailed out by CIC to a Canadian Address. |

My spouse medical done on 10/30 and confirmation submitted on 11/11 along with new PCC & more wedding Pic's & more proof and explaination letter why we didnt not have Rukhsati. |

Answer to your question Jani99, they will not budge no matter what you write them. I have already tried that to both addresses and in return you will not believe the answer i recieved. Prime minister's office simply wrote back to me that we have forward your e-mail to Jason kenney's department and after that i didn't hear anything from Jason kenney's office.
Prime minister's office wrote me that we are helping paksitan with money and everything with the flood situation, whenever that has nothing to do with my case. I mean we all canadian's do appriciate what Canada has done for paksitan but the thing is what about people like us who are waiting for our spouses to come to canada. Immigration system is very slow and don't really understand what's taking so long for them to do the whole process. Why do they promise that it would take 9 months for the process and people are waiting for the last two years or even more.

In addition to above. I have received response from Citizenship minister office"I appreciate the Pakistani community's concerns about their families' safety and well being in Pakistan. I would like to assure you that Citizenship and Immigration Canada is aware of the unfolding crisis, and is monitoring the situation carefully. There is regular communication and daily reports sent to our National Headquarters by our mission's manager. Our visa office in Islamabad is open and operating normally."
Points to Note: They are awre of the situation Menaing they know it but doing it intentionlly
Monitoring the situation Meaning they dont care if it is 16 month or 2yrs as long as go up not down.
Regular Communication & Daily Report That report is maybe belong to need more office supplies, need refreshment stuff/coffee, fresh vine, request to increase the office budget, and most important report that we will be off next week for 1 day due to this holiday and than week after off again for this holiday.
Saroo. Answer to your question promise of 9 month is to give you a mental tourcher. You go ahead make your personal life plan accordingly but when the 9 month time arrived we will tell you file is in queue to review.

My mp's office already contacted the embassy because it's going to be 14 months and mp's office got the answer the file is in Queue to be reviewed. That's exactly what they said, actually my husband had to provide Pcc from three different countries and that is done just last week so now let see what they do.

They will send you the letter once the medical is expired.
I highly Doubt that  they will send the re-med after very long .. after they have had enough of good time wasting .. thats when they mail the letters...
