Its strange CIC never update there website in October. They usually do it July and January. I think there will be a change in CIC ISB policy if it is so

It is not ISLAMABAD who is updating the website.. ITS CIC, and they are sitting here in  GATINEAU, QC ,CANADA

For INLAND APPLICATIONS they update the time line every week.

Adzees I am not quite agree with your opinion. On 10/21 my spouse received a letter to proof the evidences that the relation is genuine and also request for new PCC and repond back time is 45 days. I have not send them required information yet.

On 10/28 my spouse received re-medical request and reposnd time given is 30 days. So its not true that they ask for remedical when they are close to issue you VISA.Infect I think PCC & medical date entered into their system with 1 yr due date and when its about to two week remaining system highlite them and PKSTN admin staff send letters to redo them, so that when an officer review the file every thing is valid & up-to-date. This is what I understand as I am working in a client service environment and we dont normlly call customers untill we see a RED FLAG on there account for something.

I would suggest not to send too many emails. When the time arrive on your file, they will contact you themself.

80% of applications in 16 months, based on applicants from Oct 01,2009 to Sep 30,2010

Hey Guys,

I will be applying sometime first week of November. This forum is scary and good source of information and help.

I decided to look at the timeline as well. (Checked Oct 31st)

For Islamabad..

30% 8 months
50% 9 months
70% 13 months
80% 14 months.

Plus whatever time it takes in Canada to processing before sending it abroad.

On another note, do you guys know if it matters if my application is in A4 paper vs letter size vs both? I have some print outs in Letter (like employer letter, printouts, Tax docs etc). My wife printed in A4 because thats what was available.

Letter size doesnt really matter as long as all the information there, but in my opinion it doesnt look professional and may make officer life bit though and you know better than I do Iwhat will happen if some one mood get pissed off, but not to scare you.

Update from my side - Remedical done on 10/30

My husband printed out his forms on A4 papers as well. You can just cut the bottom inch or so to make them all the same size.

Dear brother, you don,t need to have any minimum funds required in order to sponsor your spouse and children but you do need a job in order to apply. Thanks

Salaam to all,

Have been following you guys for a long time. Surely this is very helpful forum.

My wife is sponsoring me, she being canadian citizen. (first cousin Smiley)

We had In Process since 06 November 2010, and no word since then till 26th Oct 2010 i got a letter from Islamabad for ReMedical (Medical expired on 21 August 2010). Going to get it done today.

Question: When would they ask for Re-PCC? OR do they even ask for it since I assume that has expired too.

So +1 to Male cases.

Inshallah would get through soon.

Thanks all.
