He will have to attach all that annyways to prove that your relationship is genuine. For people who have applied in mid 2009, on average, it is taking anywhere from 12-18 months

Well you never know, some people get lucky if they hit the 30% category. One of my wife's friend applied in Mar 2009 and she got the visas in October 2009

There is a possibility that he/she might have got the visa cuz 30% cases complete in 8months according to CIC website. So there is no reason not to believe on him/her.

Yep and it's taking about 12 - 18 months now, depending on if the applicant is a male or female. Also depends on How many countries you have lived in (more police record and security checks) and other various reasons for delays Sad

What exactly additional info they required, my application started processing on 5th Nov 2009, my PCC & Medicals expired but i did not receive any request from CHC regarding additional information or re-medcial update etc.. is it normal? I am worried abt it... don't know what is going on, I sent them email and they replied that my application is under routine background checks..

On May 12, 2010: They requested me to sent copies of all Passports(all pages).

On June 28, 2010: They requested me  to sent job discrepency letter(justification letter) because I worked remotely during my stay in Pakistan. They thought that I was in Pakistan and another side I am showing job.

But, it was contract job remotely. So, I sent letter from my company that I worked remotely during my staty in Pakistan.

I need to ask one question, my wife applied for me in September 2009.

I am working in Warid Telecom, they hire their employees through Third Party (contract basis) at the time of applied they hired me through Company Name NLI but after that they changed the Company named TOR and than again they renewed the contract for 1 yr with TOR. so should I submit the Experience Certificate of NLI and Employement Letter of TOR ? in CHC-ISB ?
