Hi there, This is my first time posting on this site here... this is my timeline...
Application sent to Mississauga: 28th april, 2010
Approval letter received from miss. 3rd june,2010
ISlamabad started processing. 14th July,2010
on my AOR received from mississauga, it says:
If you have not already submitted any of the following, please do so immediately:
1: Complete and return the attached supplementary information form
2:Original marriage certificate
3:15 to 20 printed wedding photos showing you and your sponsor relatives and friends and pictures showing Nikah and Rukhsati.. as well as pictures taken of you and your sponsor on other occations before and after the wedding. Please label all pics. giving names of persons appearing in the pics., relationship to you, date of the pictures and place..
please also provide recent proof of contact. this is not limited to but may include phone bills, email, envelopes addressed to you or your sponsor, financial support docs.,

now i am trying to prepare and collect all these documents... i have a question that on a supplementary form it asked to provide detail about entire educational background.... do i have to provide last 10 years of my education details or more .... ? also, we do not have any rukhsati pictures.. nikah took place in mosque of which we already sent pictures and mine was at my home we already sent pictures of that too...but unfortunately couldnt get any rukhsati pictures... we did have formal valima reception though and sent lots of thos pictures... anyone please comment to help

i got the letter from chc-isb couple of days back, stating they need updating police certifactes and need to fill out the supplementary form as well.... i think you don't need to worry ....As i take it, its a good sign and it indicates that you case is in process finally... so chill out and relax inshallah you will hear some good news pretty soon

hey anybody outhere with experience on this forum I need your help please I just received an email form islamabad they require addit documents like
1) updated police certificate and what is (IMM0008S) form to be filled out and new medical
2) wedding cd
3) wedding photos and post wedding photos which we already submitted back in january should i send new ones anyways or email them as to why they need the pictures if we already sent them
4) proof of sonsors visit thats me what should i send them for proof is a copy of my passport stamped in afghanistan good enough or do they need copies of airline tickets as well.   

And what do all of this mean when they ask you for the same documents that were already submitted and should i be worried about my case not being solid and what do they mean when it reads that "they will review all this and proceed to the next stage of processing". Please let me know what advice you can give me i only have 45 days for all of this to be sent in.  Thanks and greatly appreciated.

Hey shaimaa salaam.  Thank you for your reply.  I just want to ask you this supplementary form do i download it from the cic website because i check for the number IMM0008S and the only i found was the background declaration form and the number is IMM0008 without the S are they the samething and also please advise me on what should i do with the pictures as i already submitted them before.  Should i send different pictures from my marriage or the same ones.  I dont want to email them because they might get sick of me keep asking questions so just asking some seniors in this forum who have helped alot.  And what is your advice about sending my phone bills and text messages that i printed out from last year till now to send them together with the package voluntarily or just send them what they ask for please and your help is greatly appreciated it.  I will pray for everyone who helps me inshallah i hoep everyone can be with their loved ones soon inshallah.

Apparently we won't be getting any news from ISB office until Eid-ul-Fitr so accepting this bitter truth I am planning to send an Eid gift to my spouse and would like to share the information with you. Pakistan Post Office offers two types of parcel services: Normal Parcel that cost Rs 1,000/- per kg and deliver within 22 days. The other service is ISP which charges Rs 1,300/- per ½ kg+16% Tax and delivers the packet within 6 days. Courier service charges are from Rs 3,000/- to 5,000/-. Is there any other way of sending parcels? Please let me know. Also, please suggest gift items which can be sent to our loved-ones. Hope this discussion would be a good way to pass the time.

well about the supplementary information form didn't they send it to you with the letter? i will look for it on the forums and send it to you. plus only provide what they have asked for specifically.... do send the phone bills, if you use some online service as msn or yahoo message you can send the messages logs from there, apart from that send you airline tickets as well or boarding passes whatever you have
for the pics send some marriage pics showing nikah, reception, rukhsati, valima and after wedding dinners or parties

hey shaimaa thank you again for guiding me through this.  I just want to let you know that my wife has not received the letter yet.  I did tell her about it so were just waiting for  now.  In the meantime I was looking around and thanks to allah i found my airline tickets that we booked, receipt and boarding passes.  i just want to ask you when i copy them should i sign my name at the bottom so they know i sent it or it doesnt matter.  And another thing about the pictures.  We did have a nikah and a reception but no rukhsait because thats not in our culture. How many pics is good enough because when my wife received her AOR back in november they asked for 15 to 20 and post wedding pictures so what is a good number to be enough proof.  Anyway thanks for all your help and may allah bring us closer to our loved ones and by the holy month of ramadan hope we all hear good news inshallah.

you can try TCS they offer these services too now my question i am trying to send my spouse a gift for her bday but only sears accept pakistan as billing address for credit card online purchase any other suggestions?

Hi Everyone,

I have sponsored my wife from Pakistan like many members of this forum. I sent an email couple days ago to get an update and this was their response.

"Your application is currently in process and in queue to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time."

What does this mean? How long will it take to get started? I submitted the sponsorship package in September and around December they asked for additional information. Since then, I've heard nothing from the Embassy and I did speak to my MP and he didn't have much to say.

Any idea why it's taking so long?

since you applied in December and got the acknowledgement letter in January  so you should be looking at about 9 months before they even contact you and you should not even try contacting them before that because it delays the processing of your case.
my husband has also applied for my immigration and we filed the papers in September i got the acknowledgement letter in October 2009 in which they wanted me to provide them with some proof of contact and pictures. after that they contacted me a week ago that is July 2010 ago asking me to submit my updated police certificates as well as fill out the supplementary  information from. i don't mean to scare you but thats their general timeline. may allah help us all get through this time easily....

CONTACTED MY MP 2 WEEK BACK...THE REPLY WAS THT THIS FILE IS IN QUE FOR BACKGROUND CHECKS.....

IS IT NORMAL?? no remedical request?? since it was done in may 2009......wat will the next step....i m reallly worried..
cant even go visit him since my pr has expired  plz share ....wat to do

Well i have concluded one thing just let the time pass more you ask questions about timing and more you wait for this process to be over it's gonna feel like its taking ages so i just have threw this waiting game in my ignore list lol.
