i guess so far non one has been called for an interview....people have been contacted by chc-isb but only for submitting some additional documents or re-doing their police certificates or medical clearence. Hi ,

justa quick question for you whats your timeline  MP,s are not supposed to speed up your immigration process. When you go to your MP, he or she only promise to get a status of your application, not to speed up the process. Infact they don,t have even 1% impact on Visa Officers.
VOs are not bound to entertain the requests of MPs to process the applications expeditously even the request of Minister of Citizenship & Immigration Canada under which they are working and that is their beauty.
They are not like our MPs who become the owner of their ministery.

hi can everyone help me with one more thing. i am supposed to fill out a supplementary information form and they are asking me if i ever served in the army or voluntered? i did my house job as a dental surgeon with cmh hospital. so should i mention that ?

You have stated that ruksati is not planned until the visa is obtained.....
Further immigration officer asked "Please advise what plans you and your sponsor have if your application for permanent residence is not approved" and advised to submit substantial evidence to ensure all elements of genuine relationship to your sponsor before any final decision is made...
Hi All, This section in the regulations now has me on edge. The marriage between my wife and I was arranged and we performed the Nikkah ceremony over telephone and have not held rukasti as I have not been back to Pakistan since Nikkah was completed. Two reasons prevent me from going back. One is my work will not grant me extended leave as there is no replacement for the responsibilities I have. Second is my exposure to the Western culture and media, I am a Canadian born citizen and feel coached through media and travel advisories issues on CIC website that travel to Pakistan is not safe. We explained the reasonings behind why we performed Nikkah ceremony over the telephone (work responsibilities, not the safety concern as that has been just an emotion)and our intentions to have reception and honeymoon when my wife arrive to Canada. But after reading the letter loon received I am worried I will receive the same one in due time. We speak on the telephone daily, message with texts daily and provided additional communication evidence with the supplemental form received with the AOR. I'm really concerned. |

if u filled it in ur last suppli form then u will have to do it otherwise from my side its a BIG NO dont fmention it you will be waiting then for long time for ur background checks |

hey anybody outhere with experience on this forum I need your help please I just received an email form islamabad they require addit documents like
1) updated police certificate and what is (IMM0008S) form to be filled out and new medical
2) wedding cd
3) wedding photos and post wedding photos which we already submitted back in january should i send new ones anyways or email them as to why they need the pictures if we already sent them
4) proof of sonsors visit thats me what should i send them for proof is a copy of my passport stamped in afghanistan good enough or do they need copies of airline tickets as well.
And what do all of this mean when they ask you for the same documents that were already submitted and should i be worried about my case not being solid and what do they mean when it reads that "they will review all this and proceed to the next stage of processing". Please let me know what advice you can give me i only have 45 days for all of this to be sent in. Thanks and greatly appreciated.

Jaweda. I am not sure. If I were you I would send the pictures again. but maybe you can email them and ask if they want you to send the same pictures again. see if they reply back. if not then I guess just send them again.
(IMM0008S) is I believe a supplementary form. I dont know if somebody has a copy of it here. but the other forums link I gave you, somebody posted it there. so check that out.
do you have copies of airline tickets?or boarding passes? if yes then great. if no then just send the entry and exit stamp on your passport.
