here is my timeline
my medical expiry date was 20th may 2010 and i am waiting for any further contact from CHC Islamabad
07/20/09 - Application sent to CPC-M
07/24/09 - Received at CPC-M
08/25/09 - Decision Made, Letter Sent: 29/08/2009
09/07/09 - Letter Recieved; Approved!
10/07/09 - PR Status Changed to "in process" (Process start)
and still waiting
Hi decentvampire, Mine time line is very close to yours, and same here i didn't receive anything from CHC Isb.Kindly let the Forum update once you recieve any News from Embassy.. Thank you for your reply saggit19, ECAS status still shows as Not Available for permanent residence application. I guess we just have to be patient a bit longer. Hopefully soon we will see some progress. |

My hubby received his AOR through email. They started processing on September 12 and he had the email in his inbox on the 14th! It's faster that way lol. |

Well not for me but someone on the other forum just got remedical and PPR request for his wife and his AOR was August 18th or so but his case started July 2009..inshallah we all hear something good soon My wife has not received AOR as of today, but hearing about the re-medical and PRR request gives me some comfort. Although I'm still disappointed that duration of process continues to reach timeframe that requires a re-medical not everyone can easily accommodate. My wife is 11 hours from nearest approved medical office. I hope cases speed up as volume from economic classes remaining at Islamabad decreases. |

i have exactly the same timeline. my husband has sponsored me. i got a letter from the CHC islamabad in 2009 oct requesting for some pics of our wedding.....After i sent those i haven't heard nothing from them......Just keeping my fingers crossed for the good news inshallah some time soon.. hi i want to share my timeline as well.

Hey
No Updates... anyone received PPR after re-medical in June?
If someone has only lived in one country and never served in the military how long do you think their back ground checks should take.
I am into my second month after re submission of police certificate . did re-medical 4 months ago which they have recieved
Really worried.. its a torture.... you never know whats going to happen next.

HERE IS MY TIME LINE. THOUGHT I WOULD COME AND SHARE WITH YOU GUYS BECAUSE THE PAIN IS INDEED UNBEARABLE.
THIS IS FOR MY SPOUSE/WIFE :
Medical done in May 2009 in Islamabad, Application filled out
Application filed in Mississauga : June 5th 2009
Islamabad started processing : July 28th 2009
From August 2009 to May 2010 - NO RESPONSE. ONLINE STATUS "IN PROCESS"
May 1st 2010 - Medical expires - Redo and re-submit medical
May 14th 2010 : Passport Request Comes right after submitting medical again
May 18th 2010 : Passport sent
June 17th (today) : Passport received with VISA .. THANK GOD
June 26th (God willing ) : Seat Booked
ONLINE STATUS : STILL ' IN PROCESS '
Hint : For people who applied after June/July 2009 : 8 months to 1 year is very VERY NORMAL.
SO BE PATIENT.
