F10 ,

no need to worry there is nothing unusual about it dear. They can take their merry good time with it if they please. Unfortunately, it can take a week to 4 months. BUT INSHAH ALLAH you should get it back within a week or 2 since it was only PPR not with re-med.

Any one know of any Pakistani VISA easy countries for Honeymoon.  I expect to travel after spouse gets PR Card, or maybe before.  I am confused on this.

I figured I would have to go to West Indies or Mexico.  Any suggestions.  Not looking for Europe or Asia or Africa.

What about Dominican Republic or Bahamas.  I heard some countries may be tough for straight VISA for spouse.  But do allow those with who have been granted VISAs for USA or Canada.

Yes you may be better off with Caribbean or South America or just go to US. There are alot of things to do there. Have fun and Good luck

It is true!
One should also visit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec. It is a beautiful place.

Dear All,

My visa is expiring on 26 June. I want to stay in Dubai app 20 days before leaving for Canada. Some one told me that it could be a problem for you when your ll' land in Canada that immigration officer may ask about your stay in dubai before landing Canada and they can open your file again.. Well i don't believe this but still i m conscious as i have seen some where in PR application that "inform us about your future plans".

Kindly Guide me in this regard.
Thanks

I have the same question. I know it is Right of Permanent Residence Fee but i don't know if i have to pay it or not. I initially paid $1040.00 in fees, is this something extra?

No I think thats all you pay.. because I originally paid 540$ for the processing fees and I just paid the 450$ for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee.. I think the only thing left is 50$ for a PR card?? correct me if I am wrong..

The amount tells me that you might already have paid the RPRF.

F10,

well first of all its NOT bro...its Sis. Secondly, there are a few people on this forum who have actually waited up to 4 months for their passport to return with visa. I am sorry I dont recall their names BUT I know they have.
