Hello everyone! UPDATE- i chked my ecase today "Medical results have been received" as you all kno i sent out my PP and Med receipt on March 5. Anyone know how long they take to stamp after medical results being received?
within couple of weeks |

Did anybody send email to CHC after re-medical and what was the reply. In my case, both times they replied that "background check is being conducted". Its a wife case and I don't think they should take that long for background checks in wife case.
Still waiting on their reply. Lets see when they decide to email me back. |

So guys, I need some advice. My graduation date is on June 12. My husband is essentially just waiting for PPR to come now. Do you think I should email CIC and ask them to get a move on it so he can attend my grad? Do you think they'd care? Should I apply for TRV? What do you suggest?

Some Good News from our side (Finally!  ) My wife received request to fill following forms. www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdfwww.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdfwww.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.pdfwww.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/PakistaniNationals-Form-en.pdfHere is something interesting. Wife's file number is/was "F#########" but the letter had a sticker with "B #### #### #" So i checked using both numbers on ecase (Imm file number selection). They both worked. So now which one do i put on PakistanNationals form? The B one since thats the one on letter? Also Is UCI same as my Client ID? There is a UCI field in IMM0008ENU_2D, should i put my client ID in it? What did you guys do? Thanks, P.S. Still waiting on CAIPS (just in case) and Ecase still application received. CB |

put the on chc gave u uci is same as client id yes and put that onthe form its new think if u get refill forms ur e-case will remain same it only changes if u will get re med and ppr |

no they do not care..........it would only be a joke to them nonetheless, if your husband's medical is expiring before this date or the validity of his passport remains less than 6 months...........then they might expedite your case TRV: if he's earning handsome amount of money (6 figure) + has got strong ties like job, business + a few million bucks in his own account + good travel history out of pak THEN you better try for one..........chances would be very bright |

Thanks for your input. His salary is great but not 6-figures lol and his travel history outside pakistan isnt that extensive. His passport is valid for another 3 years and his medical was just done two months ago. *sigh* Im going to go eat some ice cream or something.  |

Try to send email during CHC-I working hour. In my opinion they shut off the server when CHC-I is closed.(For security reason i guess) So try now.
