salam everyone...
wife did re med and by reading someones post here called the doc in lahore and got my tracking number for dhl. the medical arrived in delhi on march 12. Now the question is do they mail in back to islamabad and if yes after how long or how long is the process in delhi and how do islamabad gets the results?
clearly you can tell im getting impatient with this even though i know its almost the last thing they have to check.
by the way for those who dont know... applied for wife on jan 2011 she get re med and send in passport request on feb 2012 and her re med has now arrived in delhi. dont know whats next?? any aides??

The medical is updated by NewDehli in a week or 2. So its already updatded in my opinion. Once your Bring forward date comes, they will issue you PPR or if its PPR already came , then Visa. |

Dum question but whats PPR? is it passport request? if yes they hand wrote it on her medical papers to send it also... so we sent passport first and medical after....??

PPR or PHEP letter is passport request letter. Your wife did the medicals and sent the passport correct? Did they not want to see the passport when the DMP did the medical for your wife? |

Then the next thing for your wife would be Visa. They will review the medical and passport on the bring forward date and if the medical is clear, then stamp the Visa on your wife's passport |

I was off the forum due to some personal reasons. I am back now because I want to help here.
I also want to thank people who have wished me for my wife's Re-med + PPR. It was no luck, just duas.
I strongly recommend that we learn from other peoples cases, PPR's and posts. Last year, after Mid Nov 2011 we didn't see any member receive visa from CHC-I. However, they were still issuing PPR's. One member named "waqarcan" (wife case) [Nov 2009 file transfer], his wife got PPR in Nov 2011 and the visa actually got stamped in early Jan 2012. The reason for this was that the quota for the year was done. His was just PPR and it took so much time. Re-med + PPR takes more time.
I remember one member here, CHC-I had her passport for 6 months for some odd reason. This is very rare tho. 0.5% chance of it happening.
I know that in this quarter many Sept/Oct and even Nov 2010 file transfers got visa. The reason for this is because they were left behind due to "quota". The ones who got the visa in the 4th quarter of 2011 were mostly people up until August 2010 file transfer. A few lucky Sept/Oct 2010 file transfer also got the visa in that quarter. I recall a member named "ayesha". She was Oct 2010 file transfer.
I can now see that in this quarter members like "MIKE" and "muzamil" and "miksterz" are receiving passport back with visa, while many Q1 2011 file transfers have just received Re-Med + PPR (mostly wife cases).
CHC-I was slow after Oct 2011 last year as well. They became quick in Feb 2012 all of a sudden. All the people who have sent their PP to CHC-I, wait until after April 2012. Inshallah, you will get PP back with visa in the month of May.
Point is, HANG IN THERE A LITTLE LONGER.

Is there anyone who send Re-pcc, Imm forms and other documents to Immigration Section and got a reply  Everyone here is saying that the docs should be referred to Visa section but my letter said to refer the docs to imm section ! Please need an urgent reply Do according to what the letter says. My wife never got Re-pcc/Imm forms, she got Re-med + PPR directly and on that letter it said Visa Section. |

Yes...It was the biggest hassle...and a lot of stress to get things done within 10 days...had to DHL Re-med + PPR to Karachi...that took 5 days...within that time my wife had to get a doc appt b4 April 14, 2012....as that is the BFD....was not able to get appt with Roohina Sattar...hence got an appt with Dr. Wakil for April 11...got the whole medical done within one day and sent out everything to CHC-I on the very same day...they received it the next day...some dude named DANISH DESP... We were given 30 days and 20 days were just wasted b/c all the documents came to CANADA, to my representative. |

Jason Kenny afterall is making some very positive moves as far as immigration for parents is concerned. Iam thinking spousal was quckened also due to him. I was told i would have to wait for two years but all this is hapening after little over year...
