In my opinion you should have ordered it already when JAN file transfers started getting requests to see if your initial review was done. Not sure why they are holding your file. I wonder how these desi idiots get a job @ CHC-Islamabad and given such important duties.
I filled out the caips forms when i saw March guys getting it and a friend of mine, 2 weeks prior to me, his wife got PPR. So i thought to hold off 2 weeks and see if my wife gets PPR or not. Then getting it signed by wife was a couple of days delay. Finally sent the forms via email on Monday April 9th. Reply to those asking about Mr. Nasir. He received our update in December 2011 as well. I am just wondering if thats the reason our file is delayed. Life on Pause. Sucks. Ticket prices of $2k for June sucks too! We are all in similar boats. Lets hope the light at the end of the tunnel arrives soon, before we run out of fuel :p Fuel prices are going up too! |

I know exactly what you mean. I will have to travel to Pakistan to bring my wife with me and the ticket price in June will go upto 2K+ for just myself. Her one-way ticket would cost around 100,000 RS so in total about 300,000 RS or $2900. My documents were received by Nasir in July 2011 and it was attached to my file in 3 weeks. So I don't think Nasir is the culprit here. |

Don't worry brother. Its just 12 months since your fiile transfer. You are one of the few luckly ones. Your PPR will come once your BFD comes. |

InshaAllah sister, remember me in your prayers. We were very frustrated and stressed out due to all this. But slowly we have accepted it as Allah's will. There must be a reason Allah has planned it for us this way. My wife had an appointment on April 4th but cancelled it as we didn't get the letter yet. Now she has made another appointment for 24th April. I hope we get the Re-med letter before April 24th InshaAllah Dont worry brother everything will be done soon InshaAllah! I believe it was both with days apart. No request for updated forms. @ Danny Just out of curiosity, since e-tickets are..well...electronic. I assume they can be issued from anywhere. Question is, would it be cheaper to have the ticket issued from a agent in Pak? Your departure from here and return + wife. |

Do not trust on E-Case Status sometime it does not changed. Even though you get PR and Landed in Canada the status still remain same. I would say E-Case giving you hope that they have your file and is in under process. |

i have noticed that end of the quarter CHC-I slows down and thats when the new time line get issued
they will pick up speed in first of week of may beggining of new QUARTER

That is generic answer for everyone. They are lazy to check real status of application and do not bother to write something more then that. I think they have same templates that they just copy, paste and send to everyone for received queries. |
