sometimes yeah, if a wife is older then da husband more then 3 years then they get a little suspicious lol
coz 98% of times the guy is older but in todays society doesnt realli matter age is jus a number

but CHC sometimes doesnt see it like that.....

 I don't really think that Islamabad looks at age ... as in my case Im more then 3 years older then my husband.  I think they are more concerned with that marriages are legitimate ... it all depends on the proof and documentation that you provide with your file.
In my husband's interview hardly any questions  were asked in regards to our marriage. They were more concerned with his background education and work experience.  I tell my husband they ask for interview ... because MASHALLAH he has a full beard ... LOL.

u will get them insha'allah soon because it take them 30 days to 33 days to send out CAIPS/GCMS notes

Salam Bhai,

I'm not sure what the policy is regard first in and first out policy in Islamabad. All I can say is that my case was very straightforward full marriage case with rukista from when documents original file with Islamabad in July 2010. I don't think that age is a fact, because I'm older then my husband and plus he is my first cousin.  There was never an objection to our marriage being legitimate as I spent 2 months after marriage with him and then after year went back for few month but then stay for entire year. Throughout the entire process of 21 month I kept intouch with Islamabad via email ... every month  sent email to find out where my status was at and my husband also did the same.

I hope your right on the age concern, as no where in all the communications received did they comment on our age difference.  I hope we hear something soon as well.

Doctor will send  ur medical to new delhi .
U need to send medical receipt along with cover letter and copy of medical letter to isb...that would be the proof the u got done with the requirement they ask for!

Hey Guys,

I submitted my app to sponsor my wife from Pakistan and got the approval for sponsorship.  However I noticed on the CHC website that they misspelled my wife's last name, so I called the call centre.  Call centre guy told me that they will take whatever name is on the passport.

So I check her passport and both her and my last names are misspelled on it.  My last name is Chatha, however on my wife's Pakistani passport they spelled my wife's last name as Chattha and my last name as Chattha as well (the extra 't').

Should I be concerned about it and ask my wife to get a new passport with corrections, or should I just wait for the Islamabad embassy?

Note that the application has been sent to CHC Islamabad.

Your wife must have given a copy of her NIC to the passport office when she made her passport, how's her last name spelled on the NIC?

I don't think there would be any issues with Visa but her last name spelling would permanently change to "Chattha" in Canadian documents such as PR card and SIN card. If you are okay with it then you don't need to do anything. But if you want the spelling of her last name to be corrected then it would be a pain the butt to have CHC-Islamabad change it. The first thing you can do is email them and ask them this question and suggest if you make a new passport for your wife with the correct spelling and submit a copy to CHC-Islamabad, would they correct the spelling error on their side?   

Keep the email short and provide her File number starting with "F", her last name, husband's name, Date of birth. Write her file number in the subject line. They can take upto 15 days to reply to the email. You should send the email from your wife's email that was given to them and from her side rather than from you.

You did send the form with your application that was given to you by the DMP.

Sending the medical payment receipt is not a requirement by CHC-Islamabad for re-medical or initial medical. It is for them to know that you have done your Re-medical. This is just to be pro-active instead of them calling you and ask you if you did your Re-medical. Again its not a requirement at all.
