I have a more optomistic belief I thought I would share. Applications in their final stages that go to the decision making officers que, with a standard bfd issued based on standard time-line estimates, will have a decision made sooner than the bfd. I cant say for certain when you will receive response, but I wouldnt be surprised if its within a month or two, if not sooner.
CanPak05 thank you for the reply. I really hope you are right, and I have to take the same optimistic approach just for the sake of my sanity. Looking at my GSMS notes, even though my BFD is set to Nov 2012 yet beginning to each month for last few months updates have been made on the file. That gives me hope that something will happen before and they will not make me wait for one more year for nothing. Can ANY MEMBER tell us if anyone got their PPR before the BFD? |

which part of GCMS notes is it at?
Part of my file is in form of CAIPS, and that is where I found the BFD, if your file is only in GCMS form it might not have one. At least my GCMS file did not have any BFD. |

BFD stands for "Bring Forward Date" when file should be reviewed and/or actioned on date.
Then what is due date? Its on my caips |

FRP could be code for a particular immigration officer, like my file said "File to GSA as per WVR list." |

Hi, I've received a reply from Islamabad. What's the difference between file in que to b reviewed by immigration officer and decision maker?
Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Medical examinatino letter would be sent out to applicant in coming days.

wait for response, you are correct. There is an age difference between my wife and I but that was not the original reason for the interview que. It was suggested we were a marriage of convienence and not genuine due to nikkah only case which triggered an interview, but having satisfied that concern with completed ruksati and reception in November, I believe our age difference may resulted in no cancelation of interview.
I am okay with my wife having this interview and have accepted the fact the interview will not be cancelled, just saddens me that others have received interviews before her even after they applied after. First in, first out policy seems broken.
My wifes 2nd medical expires in two weeks, our one step forward has taken 10 steps back.
canpak this is very strange experince bcz they finalize the case before the expiry of secnd medical, mine was also objection due to only nikkah but we did rukhsati and after that they didnt put us in interview que and i have gone through remedical in august still no response, i have applied for caips lets see wat happens, but ur case is unbelievable they must call u for interview bcz if they will not call then how u can satisfy objections. wat caips notes says? why they are not giving the interview date, let me share my experince they send me a letter which i never recvd than after 6 mnth they call me and askd about that letter and i told them that i have never recvd such type of letter then next they sent me the letter in email . so brother anything like this can happen with ur case , my prayers are with you |
